This game is amazing, my favorite of this game jam so far. The style and gameplay is so relaxing but still interesting at the same time, I just cant stop playing it. I would love to see this idea expanded upon and made into a real game
I found this game relaxing and really pleasing to the eye
This game is truly a winner in my eyes. It took me a little time to get into it, but once I did, it completely captivated me. Great work, and the music selection was fantastic!
Very polished!
Fantastic game here. Extremely addictive and I did three runs back to back instead of rating, hahahaha. The minimalist style is very clean, though as mentioned, it could use a bit more juice.
I did run into a few bugs though. Restarting a run kept my "maximum tiles" stat from the previous run, plus I ran into a crash after getting five discards on that final run (unsure how to recreate it).
Still wasn't enough to stop it from being a 5/5 game, though!
Thanks! Glad you liked it, thanks for the bug reports as well, we did fix the crash issue (is related to the building that gives you permanent score upgrade to tiles), but we can't update the game until rating period is over 😢
Love the nice little vector artstyle for this game, as well as a neat concept in general! I agree with the comments below that suggest adding a bit more J U I C E to the end of each round. Other than that, great game!
Yeeeh, the scoring part of this type of games is the key, but we run out of time by doing other things instead, haha! So bad >.<
Thanks!
interesting gameplay, but it is not immediately clear how to place cards and why I can place a double card outside the boundaries of the squares by 1 square
Gorgeous game that kept my attention for quite a while. 5/5 style! One suggestion though: I think it would be even more fun if the points/cash you’ve made each round was presented with more j u i c e in mind.
"Game that combines the board game Kingdomino with Balatro"
you couldn't have grabbed my attention more if you tried. nice game :)
i could play this forever
I find myself playing the game even now, haha!
the only reason i stopped is because it crashed
Very nice! I also went with the tile building direction! Cheers!
This is amazing; one of my all-time favourite arcade-type games. Incredibly addicting gameplay, and beautiful art, wonderful work!
Enjoyment⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fun! I definitely see the inspiration, but you took it some place really interesting. Everything works well, though it did take a sec to get it.
Creativity ⭐⭐⭐
The theme is there, but its pretty light.
Style ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beautiful! Very professional presentation.
Really appreciated! A tiny tuto would have been nice, indeed!
It took a second to learn, but once you do, this game is really fun! It's incredibly polished and packed with replay-ability. Great Job!
I only wish that you got something for going over the required score cause it would help getting a huge combo feel a lot more rewarding and satisfying.
Yep, the scoring section needs more impact and feedback, it could be so much rewarding!
This game is so fun!!, I liked making big pieces of the same type of tile and getting a massive amount of points. Also, the mechanic of the stars really added a lot. Great game :D
Very fun! The mechanic of being able to place any of the castle kept things from getting stuck and I think was a good idea
As someone who loves board game, I enjoyed this game a lot.
When not in fullscreen mode, moving the screen around with the middle mouse button is difficult.
The art looks amazing, also I wish there were sound effects. It is a nice game to chill like Dorfromantik. Great entry!
I LOVE the astethic, the little animations and the vibe. Though I'm really struggling with the rules. I whish there was even some simple tutorial prompts the first time you play.
Also even some basic sound effects would have elevated the whole game by a lot.
If you plan to update it after the jam I'd love to rediscover it!
