Loved the pixel-art and smooth controls, fun idea! Nice little game, great submission for a Jam.
The controls feel great, the design of the environment and the characters are great, and the gameplay is great! This is a really nice game, it managed to fit in a lot of polish (things like the bottles leaking, and the nice whistle at the very end). Fantastic job all around!
Fast-paced, good controls, and good pixel art, that’s a quality submission here! Seems like you’re French (or at least French speaking), so that’s bonus points for you! 🥐
Well made and the gaming experience was solid the whole way though! Carefully managing enemy speeds while pushing your luck to gulp down as much beer as possible in one sitting was satisfying.
That was so good from the art to the gameplay all around Great job
Nice. Take time to understand the value it the speed.
After we understand the game very fun.
Cowboys and Zombies. How awesome is that. Neat little twist on the theme. I drank a lot of beer. Would def recommend visiting this Saloon. Great addition to the jam. Good Job.
I love it! A perfect game for jam! Small scope, clear goal, unique mechanics and clever take on the theme, very well fitting visuals and sounds, a well balanced difficulty... just wow... top notch work!
Thanks for coming to my stream! Here's a recording in case you'd like to refer to it
Big thanks for your let's play and your review! <3
Heheh, well realized game. I cannot point to what specially made it better than a lot of very similar games in the jam, but something did. Nice, big, chunky graphics, light-hearted atmosphere, very good balance... it just felt that the dice mechanics really added to wave shooter concept this time instead of hurting it. Nice job.
We zoomed in the camera and resized the dices so the player can easily read the numbers, and we wanted the same style for the cow-boy, resulting in those big chunky characters ^^
Thank you for your feedback!
SO fun to play, like the sound of the gun and the graphics. Theme is a bit tacked on, but over all fantastic game.
Thanks for the feedback, even though it is quite a surprising one! I didn't expect someone would think it is tacked on, especially as the whole conception entirely revolved around dices. It started from enemies with a dice for a head, each with a number that defines their speed and would change everytime they get hit ; as dices could never be set to zero, we made them zombies.
We had several possibilities on how to attack them but the gun was the only one we kept as it was the most interesting both mecanically AND thematically : shooting dices added more holes, thus increasing their numbers and making the game more difficult over time.
The whole western atmosphere was defined afterward, as it was associated with both shooting and gambling. It was a good way to thematically limit the weapon to 6 bullets, requiring to regularly recharge and create several short phases of pressure.
Of course we could have forced the theme way more. We could have rolled a dice everytime your gun is empty in order to set the number of bullets, or have zombies start with a totally random value... but that would only have made for a worst game.
Really fun game! I got wasted in more ways than one! ;) Art is great and the idea for the game is pretty unique! Great job!
Thanks for taking the time to play it!
What a fun take on the Roll the Dice theme! Nice job :-)
Thanks for the compliment!
Awesome game, was a lot of fun! :)
Thank you!
I had a lot of fun with this and it was SO addictive (and the ending is great :D). Simple, but really well executed. I did find one bug where the dice had too many pips, but excellent entry overall!
Oh it's not a bug. The more you shoot, the more holes get added to the dice which causes the numbers to increase!
Glad you liked it! :D
Silly me! that explains it, it definitely made it more challenging!
Super smart and simple design, Good fun and cheeky humour! Especially love how intuitive the rules were :)
See you, cowboy SlyBebop!
(sorry I have to write a cringe reply to every comment)
Fantastic delivery!
Implementation of the dice was also quite ingenious and the mechanic really nice.
The end rolling was an awesome move :D
Glad you liked it!

I won the game after having a big beer belly. Just chasing around with the dice zombie is fun. Keep on the good work.
Thank you for completing our game!
This game is absolutely brilliant. Clever way to implement the theme. I love everything about this game. I can play this all day, it is so fun that even the guy at the table decided to join the party :D It's definitely one of my favorite games in the jam, we need more people to see this, what a gem. Great job guys!
Thanks! Be careful because it's not recommended to drink beer all day ;)
Really cool concept and well made ! I feared these Zomb'Dices more than i expected ! You rock friends! :3
We "rock n roll" [ ]<=
Very fun and creative game! I really like the concept and the artstyle, very well polished. Good job!
