The game looks really nice! The attacks were a little too slow for me, and I feel like the theme could be incorporated  a bit more, giving you randomized moves during combat for example. but overall good job!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!

Since we got this point a lot, I would like to ask you if the attacking felt to slow in general or any particular spell

Submitted

mostly the projectiles, I took quite a while before they started flying, this is mostly due to the long wind up animation. You can have moves that take a long time to execute, but then they should feel stronger and grander than they do right now.

Really good art/animations! My only critique is that the attacks felt a bit slow

Developer

Thank you! The animations really took some time XD. We will work on the pace of the game in the after-jam patch :)

Nicely done animations and overall polish! The attacking seemed too slow and not very satisfying, but this was very well done for a game jam!

Developer

Glad to hear! We will be working on a faster-paced game in the after-jam patch :)

Everything is just amazing!!
The art is really beautiful, the gameplay is fluid and has a great response. I'm surprised by the polishment of the game.
I put it in my collection!
Great job! =D

Developer

Really happy to hear that you liked the game so much! Thank you :)

Fun game. I also really like the art. I wish I could play with enemies maybe after I defeated them or so.

Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing! We are thinking about adding the feature, where you can play as the enemies after defeating them, in the after-jam patch.

The combat was satisfying and I loved the different attack patterns the enemies had. But I wish there were more of difference between each spell. Overall it was a fun game.

Developer

Glad to hear you had fun! We tried to have diffrent attacks, such as the brown spell (high gravity), the purple spell (bouncy), etc, but some really are similar. We will add/change some in the after-jam patch :)

⚔️ Fun idea! Really reminded me of the timeless web-based classic "Swords and Sandals" . Also impressive amount of animations for such a short jam. I only wish that the theme was more integrated into gameplay itself. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you! Nice to hear that our game gave you some nostalgia!

I gues to use a dice to randomice stuff is not that original and unique! But, this game has a really great appearance and most of all it is fun! And that is what counts!

Great submission!

As long as you had fun, we are happy :)

This was fun!  I love fighting games.

The fact that gravity pauses while the player attacks mid air is a great touch -- gave me Super Smash vibes.

I had fun playing this :)

Developer

Thank you for playing!
