Really cool! The art style is fun and I always love a blending of them, the 2d and 3d work well together here. I had some difficulty understanding what face of the dice was actually facing up though, a lot of the time it would come up at a diagonal position and I wasn't sure which side was the one that counted. Perhaps it was the one facing me? Other than that, I enjoyed my time. (⌒▽⌒)☆
Thanks! I’m sure we’ll rework water tank mechanic in upcoming updates after the jam, it seemed quite not obvious to me too :D
Super cool use of the theme. Was very enjoyable though it had some controls issues (probably mostly due to playing it on the web, but some operations felt odd regardless (like inserting the die into the machine).
Thanks, liked your game too, similar idea :D

On the web version, i cannot move my eyesight if i am in a fullscreen mode. Interesting immersion. Well done.
I played on the web version. It took me a while to understand how to properly navigate and play the game. Overall it was pretty unique experience, well done!
Love the dice detective spin
Visually impeccable, kudos! The mix of 3D with the amazing illustrations works really well!
I like the 3D take on Paper’s Please in theory, but in practice the collisions are finicky and made a lot of stuff unnecessarily hard.
I encountered a non-blocking bug where the day was over while I was inspecting a dice, and the next day I still had the dice and the money they tried to bribe me with, but the customer was gone. I also encountered a blocking bug when I trashed a dice, but the game did not detect it and I couldn’t skip to the next customer.
Also, WASD does not work for Azerty keyboards, and I’m pretty sure Godot allows you to specify physical keys instead of logical ones to try and bypass this issue.
Thanks so much for the feedback!
I'm glad you like the concept, I think with more refinement the collisions and physics add another element of interaction to the game to make it more engaging.
We are currently collecting bugs to patch in the next release of the game, thanks for raising these issues.
Cool game! If I were to suggest one thing, it would be great if the dice could stay in the tray when it's handed back to the client (it would occasionally fly out because of the speed the tray is going at). Other than that, no complaints here.
Thanks, will do!
The concept is cool, but I'm unsure how to catch the cheaters. Sometime the die will "snap" to a face when I put it in water but it was always a small number that came up. Also, I couldn't make the scanner work.
I really liked the drawings and mood of the game, good job !
When you throw the dice in the water, the face that snaps is the one floating (we did it like this for consistency). if there is a small number once or twice, it's not guaranteed it's not a cheater, but less likely. Also, for the xray, open the door, put the dice inside, close the door and press the red button.
Really cool
Cool concept! The kids in a trench coat made me laugh.
It has a linux version :D
because developer is a linux user (me)
Great concept and well made. It took me a while to grasp the basics tho, might be good to the first inspection without a time limit where the walk away, so that you can take your time trying things.
Papers please, but with gambling! I kept drifting in the web version, but the windows version played a bit better ^-^
That's what we were going for :D The drifting is solved by going full screen btw
love this! Very original concept :) One of my favs
This game looks great!
This was so creative!
Really like art. But I didn't understand anything. What I should do?
Goal of the game is to earn money by checking dice. Some dice are rigged to have bigger numbers in games, and if dice are biased, you throw them to the bin, if they are legit, you give them back to person. Check out game trailer, it shows game mechanics!
Amazing , i'm not even kidding
