Fun game!
it was kinda complicated to understand the differences between the bullets, tho.
And I had to reduce de sensibility of my mouse. XD
Good job!
Its a fun game and I actually enjoyed playing it.
I will honest. I clicked on tutorial, saw the long description, skipped it. Knew it was fps, so just started shooting the thing that looked like enemy. Had my fun, then since I enjoyed it decided to check instructions. Found out the different bullets had a lot more complicated stuff going on in the background other the showing pretty effects. But truthfully even if I have read the instruction in the beginning, 5 seconds in the game and I won't have cared what bullet is in the camber. I would have started shooting the first thing a saw randomly anyway.
good idea, the sensitivity is way to high
It was really fun when I lowered the mouse sensitivity! The game is really good!
I liked it!
BEST OF LUCK :)
P.S. Check out our game too!
Pew Pew woosh vroom boom
Really fun when you lower mouse sensitivity like you said to. Can I ask how you made the ground/terrain?
Cool concept, spamming bullets made it easy but I really like the idea behind it.
Really enjoyed the feel and concept of the game, had a lot of fun playing it. Cool we both built off of similar ideas
EPIC MUSIK (but i think the crosshair is to small)
A love all the different bullet effects! Apart from the high sensitivity, the game also lags for me sometimes from all the beautiful effects)
A pretty creative mechanic and a fun FPS bullet hell with cool effects (at least until my browser couldn't really handle it anymore towards latter levels).
Perhaps slowing down the pace and adding some enemy variation (i.e. weaknesses) could make the different bullets/effects matter more.
Cool idea. The mouse sensitivity was an unfortunate detractor to the experience but it was enjoyable.
A bit laggy in the browser but cool idea.
I wish you had gone further with matching bullets for bonuses. Its a bit easy since you can just spam shoot, so having it so you had to match the bullet to the enemy would have made the game more tactical.
A few minor bugs but that's to be expected in a jam game.
Interesting idea! The mouse sensitivity was way too high for me, and the reticle was hard to see against the background and enemies. The dice and bullet choices didn't seem too well integrated since the best strategy seems to be firing as fast as possible (consequences like not having that bullet available for a certain time would be nice). With the random healing the enemies never seemed to pose much of a threat and seemed more like floating targets.
Very good idea if it was built on more, I found myself just blindly shooting without thinking about which bullet i was getting because if I shoot enough itll just kill anyways. Maybe a spot for improvement to bring focus to the randomization is to add a bullet type that damages the player? That way it makes you think to avoid shooting to hit that bullet type.
Very weird controls, feels too sensitive. Overall may be a great idea if different bullets would affect the game more.
Awesome! This is really fun. Although, i would increase the dot in the middles size, cuz half the time i cant even notice where im shooting. other than that, extremely fun gameplay!
I really liked the controls. They worked really well and I really felt like I had control over the character. My problem is that you don't really look at the dices while playing and just end up mindlessly shooting at everything. But it could be that I'm just dumb. Also I wanted to point out a the explosions are a bit too large.
I'm sure its a lovely game but the problem was that I couldn't see because the default sensitivity was so high.
Oh, sorry that is super unfortunate.
The only idea I have would be to turn your OS mouse sensitivity down.
Thank you for the feedback
I lowered the sensitivity and after I did that the game was fine! All the particles look great and the mechanics work fine. My only criticism is that dice isnt really integrated as a part of the game, and you mostly end up shooting at the bots without thinking about the dice. But, as an FPS game it works well, the game looks nice, and overall its a good time shooting at the bots with your gun.
Great! Thank you very much. I agree that the dice kinda lost its purpose. The best strategy is still to shoot as fast as you can lol
