Nice little game! The mechanics do get a little boring after a while. I feel it can be improved by adding more complexity, a more elaborate scoring system, etc!
Nice idea, would love to see more of it, maybe some kind of development of the core gameplay. It would be nice to have your coin goal on the screen at all times, without having to walk to the portal first, since it takes some precious seconds to do so. The presentation is really nice, good job.
This is a nice game. It was really easy to understand it! The graphics were good and the music sounded nice! good job!
Cute little game. Didnt catch me to long because the mechanics got boring quite quick or should i better say there weren't a lot of mechanics. Some more gameplay features would go a long way to make this better. Like some obstacles (enemies, different level layouts or whatever) would help for example. Other than that i think the UI clashes a bit in terms of style with the game. But you should still feel proud at this game, its a neat accomplishment. Good Job.
Cool game! I like the art quite a bit, and the way you incorporated dice into your game is cool! I also like how you scaled the number of coins according to the amount of time given since that makes it feel very fair. I do think the game would've benefitted greatly with just some simple sound effects and music as it feels a bit empty at the moment. But overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Nice work!
A good game idea with some appealing pixel art. Although it needs some extra complexity and challenge like enemies or obstacles.
It's fun that you have a time limit.
Good Luck <3
There is a really interesting foundation but I think the game is too simple. It needs some added difficulty.
You have a good foundation here already! The game looked clean and plays well! Other people have so great suggestions like a shop or enemies but I have just two small UI suggestions. I would have the amount of coins you need onscreen at all times instead of on the portal and I would have an arrow point to where the portal is when it is off screen! But great work doing all the art and coding!
Love the concept! I think if the game had some other things implemented, like enemies or power ups it could help keep the game fresh. Another idea I had was maybe changing the movement speed of the player based off of whatever time you got, adding a more "rushed" feeling for the player to go fast. Nicely done!
Thanks for the feedback :D I am definitely considering ur idea
Pretty nice concept! Reminds me a bit of Johnny upgrade. The game is a bit too easy + short though. If you continue the concept to post jam something to look into may be adding a shop between coin runs where people can buy upgrades to incentivize risk reward of collecting as much as possible while still being able to get out
Thanks :D I will definitely consider adding a shop
Interesting idea! Though, it would be better if it had a twist and it had more variety to the game. This has the potential to be a fun little game if you add more to it. Besides that, the visuals look clean!
Fun game, although a little too easy
Fun idea with cool music! What I wished to have during gameplay was to be able to do something with the crosshair. Collect coins with it or something. Still very fun tho.
Thanks :D
An interesting little, I assumed high score game. But I guess just survival game where the goal is to get out with the coins you need to pay the portal. I was more expecting it into be a matter of aiming to get the most coins within the time limit and escape through the portal. That way it's a risk vs reward setup where you want to get as MANY coins as possible, without losing every single to the time limit.
Onbe other thing I would say is that the chests being randomized in their loot, is a little weird. It feels like a little bit too much randomization combining with the spawning of the coins and such, as well as the time limit on top of the cost to leave. I feel like it would be a little nicer if it was more just "find the loot, it gives _" so that it's more consistent in what you're dealing with.
Cause at the moment it's possible to have to pay 15 to escape and then get multiple chests of 2-3 for example. Or whatever the minimum number actually is. Which means there's the possibility of a situation that definitely feels like there should be enough not having enough. Which is never quite fun as a player.
Otherwise though I would say a bit of map polish would be interesting, maybe more to interact with environment wise, some trees etc. Though obviously this is a jam, it's got a time limit so this is more stretch stuff that would've been interesting and added a bit more variety.
Overall though a pretty good jam all things considered and I'd be interested to see what else is managed.

K I am sorry
I like the concept and found it quite fun to play. I would suggest maybe having some sort of active threat/obstacles that would drain your coins/time and would be a risk vs reward to get a larger amount of coins.
I liked the art and concept of this game! I really enjoyed the movement animations!
i like the concept!. It is very difficult to find the portal, a map would help me. Saludos!
The music gave me a good vibe of adventure. good job there for some reason it stoppped for a bug or smth
Good concept, maybe some enemys, less time to make it challenging would help, but hey a peacful game is a good game for some too.
Good job guys, Keep it up!
