Wow ! Really nice game , loved the aesthetic , almost surreal and suuper fun , I really loved the graphics in this one though , Good Work overall , Easy 5/5 !! :))
Simple, but highly effective.
Extremely enjoyable game experience with awesome graphics, music and sound effects capturing the feel and aesthetic spot on.
I loved it <3
Solid game, with amazing visuals, love it!
Thanks! :)
Nice game ! Beautiful visuals, simple mechanics but does the job ! More levels would be great !
Thanks! This is something I will tackle as I continue to work on this game :)
So cute! Amazing visuals, very juicy! Basically a finished game, the mechanic is super solid. Nothing bad to say! :D
Naww, thank you for your kind feedback! :)
I had fun figuring out what to do, and the visuals are great!
Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately I hadn't much time to add a quick tutorial how the mechanics work. So we wrote it in the description. That's something I will tackle when I continue working on this game :)
So pretty!
8-)
Thanks! :3
What a beautiful game, 10/10 art. I love that the credits screen was illustrations of the team! I had fun attempting to lower the number of moves I made.
Thanks! Wouldn't be possible without the team.
Oh wow, this is a striking looking game!
And the gameplay is really fun too – an especially satisfying version of the "playing around the odds" format that keeps popping up in this jam. Scoring the player based on their number of moves is a great extra twist here. I love it, great stuff! All fives, all the way down!
That's really nice to hear! Thank you! :)
thiis game is 5/5/5 rated the pressentation is amazing i enjoyed it and it was so creative
Glad that you enjoy our game! :)
aha we're having the exact same gameplay. so I suspect that you guys stole our idea huh!
just kidding ;) you guys are awesome! your art team did a great job! and the music also fits the creepy arts. love it! ohh and your scene transition effect is soo cool!
btw seems you guys are also using 2d, just wondering how did you make the dice rotation so smooth 😍
Thank you! :)
Haha, yes there are some similarities with your game. I guess that happens when a lot of people are working on the same quote :D
Regarding to the dice rotation: The dice itself is 3d. We set up a scene with an orthographic camera and used primitives from this perspective as a base point for our artwork. Then we imported the assets as 2d sprites in an 3d environment. So everything except the fore- and background are in 3d space.
Top-notch art and presentation. Fun game, really impressed! It really helped having the visual cue showing your possible movements. Top-tier, wouldn't be surprised to see yours in Mark's followup video.
Thank you so much for your feedback!!
There are sooooo many great games out there, a place in the top 20 would surely be a great luck with this competition!
But even so it was fun to build the game and we are already planning more content :)
Love the art and animations, though I also would like to see more levels with different obstacles and enemies
Thank you!
We had so many ideas but so little time: obstacles, levels, enemies, maybe puzzle like elements, ...
We're working on more content to add after the jam :)
The art and polishing is incredible! I love how you show how far you can go in each direction. I wish you made more levels though. Good Job!
More levels are just one of the ideas we have for this game in the future :) thank you for your feedback!
Presentation and polish is really nice, I love the idea of using the different sides of the die at the same time.
Thanks! We hope you enjoyed the game :)
This game is so beautiful! Are the levels randomly generated or is there only one level? Would love to see some more obstacles and fun features! Either way this is a really fun game!
Thanks! The level is randomised, but we're also thinking about adding different levels in terms of difficulty, style and obstacles :)
you're gonna get the same compliments from me as everyone else and the same criticisms. gorgeous game. clever. great use of the criteria. not enough levels, even for a game jam.
Definitely keep working on this one. Give it another week or two. :)
Thank you :) we will definitely add more content!
This one left me wanting more.
The music is very nice, and the graphics are extremely high quality.
The movement mechanic is clever, and unlike other dice movement games, I don't have to memorize the faces. You show the distance. Thank you. Goo work with the main mechanic sticking to the theme.
I did encounter a few visual bug where enemies would get stuck inside each other. Otherwise this would get 5 star presentation.
My biggest complaint is the lack of content. One level, even for a game jam this short, feels like not enough.
Thank you so much for your feedback!
We focused on one polished and randomised level during the jam to have a nicely coded and designed base to work on after: More levels, obstacles and maybe even puzzle like elements are just some of the ideas we have for this game :)
Also thanks for reporting the bug, we'll keep an eye on that during further development!
Looks very polished. I like graphics and audio. Does it have only 1 level? It took me below one minute.
Thank you! The current level is randomised but we're already planning to add more levels after the jam.
