Welcoming game about icy dice during this heat wave. Common mechanics with another neat little twist. Presentation is very consistent and appropriate. Love every minute of playing it. Good Job.

one of the great ideas that i seen in game jam

One of the better taught puzzle games I've seen in a jam, definitely was quite helpful throughout with the in level tutorials.  Plus some of the mechanics were pretty surprising, like the, what I assumed to be "sliding floors" turned out to be 'rolling" or as someone called them 'bouncing" floors.  Which led to a lot more intricacy in how to move around since I now had to take into account the other sides and figure out how to work around what side it would bounce to.

Otherwise though, not really much to say, it's a good game, it was an interesting and challenging, but not too annoying puzzle game.  And I had a fun with it and will probably go back to beat it.

Great improvement on this style of mechanic, adding both more complexity and freedom to decisions. I really enjoyed it!

A really nice game, it takes the base idea of rolling the dice in a certain order in a way that really worked with me.

-Multiple solution puzzle

-Easy to understand mecanism

-Great animation

-Minimalist but pleasing aesthetics

The only thing i'd like to change is to see what the move will remove from the actual counter, it'd help to be sure you're doing the right move!

Congrats!

Awesome take on the theme!
Love the math concept with the various tiles effects.
Great game!

haha hello fellow Ice Dice-ee!

Really nice game! Love the fact that the very first level shows exactly what you need to do with literally one key press. Intuitive and a challenge for my brain. The sounds and atmosphere is just great too. Really good job!

Had a good time with this one - it was really relaxing to play. The art was really nice and the mechanics were well-designed. Nice work!

Definitely one of the coolest rolling die puzzle games I've seen in the jam! I love the sound effects and art style, it all looks/feels really nice. The puzzles were also really relaxing and fun to play through with a bunch of new mechanics all sprinkled in as you play. Great submission!

i like the game mechanics and the level design!
they seem well executed
the transition from level to level is also very cool
only downside is that my computer was set ablaze by this game.
did you perhaps forget to cap the fps?

Submitted(+1)

LMAO I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that happen to me. My computer took flight for a little bit.

Developer

Maybe a fps cap would've helped yeah... The power of Unreal I guess :')

Thanks!

From the creator of one tile-based dice-rolling puzzler to another: I'm more than a little bit jealous. This is just such a satisfying game; the clean graphics, the ice crackling underfoot, the fact the levels have more than one solution... it all amounts to an incredibly calming experience, one well worth playing the whole way through. Very pleasant stuff.

Loved the graphics and the puzzles. Great game!

loved the gameplay and the way it develops. cool and cozy style ;)

Nice minimalistic puzzle game! Great how you played with the dice and obstructing the view from the sides. Could even be fun to add bonus to players that use less turns (turning the dice arround)! but I'm glad it's unlimited now, very relaxing. Transitions between levels are so smooth! 10/10 would download from the appstore.

Amazing visuals, interesting puzzles. Would have loved to move faster and couldn't find a way to exit the game without killing it using task manager.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I think Alt+F4 is the easiest. Could've maybe added something else :)

At first I thought it was a relatively straightforward process and there was no way it would end up being a really good puzzle. Once you introduce ice though and especially double ice, it gets much more interesting and starts to call out some of the interesting aspects of properly faced dice. I would I could move a bit faster, decrease the volume, and not be in full screen, but otherwise it is a rather polished and minimalist experience!

Developer

Thanks! I didn't quite realise how loud that wind audio could be at times until after the deadline. Oh well, gamejams are gamejams. Hope the audio volume didn't bother too much! :)
