Great atmosphere. Looks beautiful. But with just one chance to move, and then uncertain of whether up or down, I always end up outmaneuvered...

Love the art, always a fan of good pixel art, and a cool combo of familiar mechanics into a unique and creative core loop
Very cool concept. Love the pixel art.
It can be a bit frustrating if you don't roll what you need, but as it's a short game, it's not a problem.
Amazing job!
Cool game. I found the mechanics a bit hard to figure out at first but it clicked after a couple of tries. Also I often found myself trying to roll for movement actions but wasn't able to get enough.
This is just my type of game, very cool. The music was dark, spooky and chill. Well done! Rated!
Thanks for playing ! You can find more from our talented composer here : https://www.youtube.com/c/CleliaFIANI/
Really nice game! Once you understood, it becomes really fun to optimise your moves and crush the enemies. I wish the game was a bit faster on the animations.
There is some potential here, congrats!
I like this pixel art style. I was confused on how to play at the start too, but well done.
Excellent presentation, the art and music are great! I really enjoyed the particle effects on movement and couldn't tell if that was pixel art animation or algorithmic animation. Either way, kudos there!
I wish the game was a bit faster paced... having to wait a bit after assigning dice was frustrating. But the combat itself comes together smoothly. The gifs are what ultimately taught me I had to drag the dice onto the character to activate an effect.
Good job!
Thanks for your feedback !
Kudos to our 2 amazing artists that continuously flooded us with amaazing sounds and sprites in this jam !
The movement effect is actually a "dissolution" shader I made in unity shader graph. It didn't turn our as planned (some weird colors) but it was a great asset for movement, death and spawn to feel a bit more dynamic.
Yeah tutorial and pace needed a bit more work !
A fun turn based strategy game. The overall dice mechanic was well made and works well for this game
Interesting game mechanic! Not sure why are the tiles aligned in a cross shape when hovering over the revealed dice. Also would be nice if the popup shows directly the tooltip of the revealed skill. Found myself playing this game for quite some time, enjoyed it honestly, great job!
Thanks for the feedback !
The balancing is something that might need a retweak once the jam is over. I firmly believe that having a dice that allow to have a movement everyturn is not a good solution, because it remove a lot of constrain (if you manage your placement correctly, you should be able to fill any lane in any turn since you can warp from top to bottom and vice versa).
On the other hand, having no movement during 4 consecutive turn is a big issue. A nice thing we could implement is forcing the yellow dice to give you a movement if you didn't have a movement on any dice last turn.
Additionnaly, we saw the suggestion to be able to put shield and heal the core. Healing doesn't sound like a good idea but shielding the core is definitely something that I would like to implement
The theme is super creative and the game looks pretty good! Music and animations are great. I wish there were more options for movement; I never seemed to roll the right arrow in time to intercept
At first i didn't understand I had to put the result of the dice on an unit, after that, the game was totally clear.
The randomness is controllable enough, you feel you could do better when you do your first run and want to do another (at least, that's what I did, and won my 2nd run :D).
Missing a bit of juicyness/feedbacks, but it's always hard to do everything in 48h, so well done!
