Hey, just giving you a heads-up: There’s been some fraudulent voting with fake accounts on this page. Just in case it wasn’t obvious, do not or encourage others to create fake accounts to vote on your project. You may want to check with your friends or family to ensure they aren’t doing that. If we see any more issues your page will be disqualified from the jam.
Hey, thanks for notifying us! I'm not sure as to who has done it, but would it be possible to just retract the votes from the accounts you claim to be fake?
Love the concept Had lots of fun with this one. Another great showing from Team Melon :)
Fabulous game with an amazing concept. Fighting a dice which inflicts random debuffs on the player depending on the roll of the dice is an extremely creative take on the theme. This game is very enjoyable, although I do think the fights are a bit too long, maybe making them a bit shorter and more dynamic would enhance the experience. But overall a really fun game with great graphics, admirable work!
Very cool concept, it was a bit hard tho. I got swarmed by the spawned enemies. I had a good time!
The idea of the game is really creative. the images are beautiful. music sounds good. It was fun. Good work
The art/polish was absolutely top notch, plus the character controls felt really good, even if the keybindings weren't my favorite.
I feel like overall the enemies felt a bit too damage-spongy and think having the game at a faster pace with lower health, but more damaging enemies would have made it more enjoyable and not feel as tedious.
Still an overall amazing job!
Very cool leaderboard system. Though I wish space is not the only key to press to make the character jump.
Spawned enemies are too tanky. Kinda hoped they'd die in 1-2 hits.
i love the pixel art and concept! the enemies were the bane of my existence, mostly due to them jumping every 2 seconds but other than that i love it
Nice aesthetic and nice game ! Didn't quite understand the points system though ahah. But a great platformer boss !
Very cool game, had fun playing through it. I like the pixel art and how you can juggle the dice in the air with jump attacks. I'm not sure if the effects that the dice does are related to what it rolls. If so, it would be nice to have it indicated more clearly (with eg. a number/image next to the effect text).
The working leaderboeards are a cool addition and it made me want to play it again to improve my score. So I tried betting it as fast as possible but then I got a much lower score, which is confusing.
Ah, the score system is more related to the amount of enemies you kill.
Great aesthetic and sounds
Go team melon!
A well put together experience, caught me off guard but stayed fun throughout. The melee ranged I found to be a bit low, making me get hit a lot when I tried to get close to enemies.
Awesome art assets and sound design! It was really fun. Flipping the screen was a really cool idea that I think could be expanded on a lot if you decided to make it into a bigger game (projectile paths altered, gravity, etc)
Thanks!
Great game to play, but only for the second level really. 1st level was far too easy. And the permanent slowdown on stage 3 ruined the game feel.
Absolutely feels like it can be expanded to a bigger game!
Thanks for trying out our game! We didn't really have enough time to properly focus on balancing the game. But even then. the dice performs random actions, so experiences throughout levels may vary. Overall it should get harder, as with each level the duration or intensity of the dice's tricks increases.
Gameplay is well made and very fun. One of the best games I played so far.
