Nice game! It's a good balance of chance and strategy, especially with the ability to assign different tiles. Nice art too!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed!
Very very nice game! I would love to have more interactive tiles (if a Park is overlapping a building and a lake?! extrapoints or something) but it worked realy well. But dude: Write the controls very visible under your game. PRESS R TO ROTATE should be the first thing one reads in caps on your page. The rest is self explaining. Otherwise: No bugs encountered. length of the rounds perfect!
Thanks for all your feedback! I'd have liked to implement a system like what you're suggesting, where a riverside park is worth double points, but I didn't quite get around to it. Thanks again
I absolutely love this one! I would describe it as a mix between SimCity and Tetris, in the best way possible. Hats off to the devs; I played the whole thing, and so far it's the best game I've encountered in the jam. The UI is honestly fine --- things don't need to be that polished in a game jam. Basically my only problem was how it's not very easy to swap things between slots, which becomes a problem when some slots are more likely than others, but that's very minor. Great job!
Thank you for your kind feedback! I'd definitely have liked to fix that slot swapping issue, but as you said, I suppose it's not feasible to polish everything. Thanks again!
Another play-on-words! I had a lot of fun with this one, there is a decent amount of content for a weekend jam, the strategy is interesting, the game design and progression are also great. I only found it difficult to see how many tiles the square shapes take, for example I thought the first green tile was 1x1 and found out the hard way :)
I'm glad you liked it! That's definitely a good point though; that could have been more readable. Thanks for your feedback!
I like this! I really love hand-made art and I would like to make a game in the same style soon or later! I also enjoy the fact that you obtain new tiles when progressing to new levels, it makes everything more interesting. This game reminded me of a small game called Dorfromantik, do you know it?
I'm glad you enjoyed! I haven't played Dorfromantik yet, but I checked it out and it looks fun! I was mostly inspired by Islanders (which I also haven't played yet) and board games called New York Zoo and Quacks of Quedlinburg. Thanks for the recommendation!
City planner gang 💪
Really digging the toony style and the mechanics, I certainly see myself playing days long if there’s a save game system in the making ;)
Thanks! Could be...
Wow, great ideas and mechanics design. I wish that I could hold onto a piece of tile, similar to some Tetris games.
Thanks for your feedback! That's a good idea
Nice game!! A city builder is an interesting way to use dice
Could use some music and some more effects/feedback
nice job
Thanks! Yeah, it could definitely do with more sound
Had fun with this one. Didn't find any bugs. Only thing I can say is add a bit of relaxing music to help out the ambience a bit.
Great entry!
Thanks for playing and checking for bugs! I agree that music would have been a good addition.
Nice simple idea with a good aesthetic
Thank you!
One of the best puzzle games I've played. The dice rolling mechanic really adds to the strategy. Great Game!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Surprisingly fun. The visuals add a certain charm.
Thank you!
I love this game and it is definitely one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had thus far playing through some of the games. I was surprised each time I beat the level and there was more content and alterations to the gameplay. Nice work, really great submission!
That's kind of you to say! I'm glad you enjoyed the variety.
This was really satisfying and fun! really great
Thank you!
The best game I've played in this jam, fun gameplay, good visuals. Truly outstanding. Finding oneself trying to fit in the houses as good as possible while also maximizing points is really fun. It's use of the theme is also excellent from a gameplay perspective. Having some spots be more common than others adds a whole new layer of strategy you have to think about. Great job!
That's very kind of you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
creative concept, good work!
Thank you!
it took me a bit to understand what was going on but it's very good, the levels need to be harder i think
Thanks! I wanted to try to keep it on the easy side, but hopefully it's not TOO easy.
This is very interesting City Sim! I spent a lot of time playing it just because how interesting it was.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Interesting idea if tweaked a bit, UI/Presetation could have some work. Nice job eitherway!
Thanks! I definitely agree about the UI.
Look- the game concept is really fun to play. The UI can use some work, but it's a game jam, so not everything can be perfect. Anyway, it was fun to play and it fits the theme pretty well.
Thanks for your feedback! I agree with you that the UI's pretty rough. I'm glad you had fun!
