How does your game fit the theme?
This game aligns with the jam theme "assemble" by focusing on the concept of constructing mathematical equations through the combination of numbers and operations. Players assemble equations by selecting numbers and applying arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to reach a target number, thereby creating a cohesive mathematical structure.
The gameplay mechanics encourage strategic assembly of numbers and operations, reinforcing problem-solving skills as players must carefully choose their moves to effectively "assemble" the correct equations to win. This interactive process embodies the theme by merging elements to create a complete solution.
note: A bit irrelevant, but I accidentally submitted the review form halfway in the last question; if I recall it was something "what was your challenges and advantages with creating a game on Godot?" which I only sent the game title... it seems the form cannot be edited or resubmitted, so if you allow me I’d like to provide my full response here:
challenges: debugging. Godot offers a good way to debug a game, but the engine itself is somewhat buggy and it confused me sometimes and forced me to reboot the engine.
advantages: with node-based hierarchy it was quite easy to reuse elements.

Once I understood what I was supposed to be doing it turned into an interesting math game. I think a bit of explanation text somewhere in the game could have helped. Good entry.
My dumb ass couldn't understand a thing
Nice mechanic. Simple but enjoyable.
It seems it is not possible to progress infinitely, as you will eventually run out of operators with the larger numbers. But perhaps I missed something.
A very interesting idea, a bit complex to understand at first, but that might just be because I'm not very smart, haha. Nice game!
