Quite confusing, but it was nice to play nontheless. I liked the keyboard puzzle.
Interesting and unique take on the theme. Found both endings, nice submission.
Thanks for trying it out and for playing through it twice to get both endings! :)
This is such a fun metagame :D
Thanks for taking the time to try out the game! Happy to hear you had a fun time. :)
Ha, I loved this! "ThisCord" killed me hahah. I like the meta gaming with the GWJ. Very clever and very engaging game from the start.
Thanks for your kind words!
I considered leaving it at first but figured better safe than sorry and not get into any trademark issues so I just changed it up a little. :P
Fun little game. Liked the "meta" concept of trying to make a game for the jam :) The keyboard puzzle was nice. Well done overall!
Thanks for trying out the game and I’m glad you liked the keyboard puzzle!
really nice game! I liked the variety in storytelling mechanics and going through multiple scenes.
🐞one thing i noticed in the 1st paper notes section, the number glyphs were missing in the font. And i had a little confusion as a player how to progress past that section. Of course i eventually figured out i had to let the teacher catch me and got to experience the rest, but I was stuck for a little bit
Really nice work though, and very relatable storyline haha
Thanks for trying out the game!
I loved it. Well done. Can't wait for the sequel!
Thanks for playing!
Thank you for the kind words. Can’t promise anything. It will really depend on the theme of future GWJs… :P
very beautiful mise en abyme
Thanks for playing! I hope you enjoyed the experience. :)
Unique idea. The first scene reminds me old school days. Great job.👍
Thanks for trying out the game!
I’m happy to hear that it was relatable. :)
This is an excellent idea for a game. I agree with what Wei-ju Wu said about the keyboard, I thought I had forgotten the layout of my keyboard lol.
Thanks for trying out the game! I’m glad to hear that I captured the nightmare feel both in game and in the real world. ;)
That was pretty interesting, unique and very meta :D I thought for a while my keyboard was broken :D Reminds me a bit of Interactive Fiction, but with more graphics.
Thanks for trying out the game! I’m glad you felt it was a unique and immersive experience.
I did not even think about this but in hindsight I can see how it can throw the player off completely. I hope the puzzle was not too difficult to solve because I want the player to complete the game instead of getting frustrated and quitting to play another submission. :P I spent a fair amount of time brainstorming different ways to convey hints to the player as to how they should arrive at the solution.
Very fun and even if this was my first jam i could relate a lot to everything , really unique game!
Thanks for trying out the game, Alboroz!
Nicely done. Very relatable. Would be cool with some background music as well.
Thanks for trying out the game! I avoided putting in music as I did not want the music to suggest to the player what was happening. In hindsight though I think you are right and I should have just put some neutral music to keep the mood “static” to keep the players guessing. Will keep that in mind for the next jam! :)
Very cool, and fun! Brings me back. :P Nice for something so early in your career at GWJ! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for playing! It came together pretty well I would say. There is an unfortunate lack of “game-like” elements to it but I hope you enjoyed the experience! :)
Really fun ! And I can so relate to everything. Quite an experience and unique approach, love it !
Thanks for giving the game a try. I’m glad you had a good time and that it was relatable. :P
Fun game. I found the ThisCord ending and the butler push ending.
Thanks for trying out the game! There are only two endings. I have updated the game’s description to make this clear in case people are wondering. :)
