I really enjoyed this strategic puzzle game! There's definitely a learning curve with all the icons in play all at once. If this were expanded, I think multiple levels, starting with a smaller map size and fewer icons to learn at once would be very beneficial. There are so many cool and interesting location effects and items, and I appreciated that the location effects made sense with the icons used! There were some really cool location combos in a couple of the plays that let me zoom across the map (subway to plane, for example), and I thought those interactions were incredibly useful and well-implemented. I didn't manage to win (yet) after 4 or 5 plays, but losing wasn't frustrating at all, and I felt compelled to try again immediately. That's a pillar of good design! Very solid entry, bravo!

Developer

Smaller map size definitely makes sense, atleast to introduce the mechanics in a tutorial of some sort. Glad you had fun with the game. Your feedback is certainly encouraging. Thanks!

Pretty steep learning curve, but nice entry!

Developer

I'll work on a tutorial. Thanks!

This is a very fun game here! Simple to understand but with a nice little challenge to it. A great game if I’m looking to kill a few minutes or an hour!

The art is simple, but very clear to read. Everything does what one would expect them to do. I don’t think I have any real critiques I could make. If I was to comment on something, maybe a little more theming to the Main, Victory, and Failure menus. They seem to be using, predominantly Godot defaults. I say this, but this was a jam, so, I get timing would be a limiting factor.

Over all, great game!!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'll work on the styling in future.

a little hard to understand, but i had a fun time playing, understanding and trying to win!!

Developer

Sure, I'll work on a tutorial for this. Thanks for playing and glad you had fun!

Very fun and very replayable! I won it a few times. The sounds are pretty good too. I agree with what has been said about the visuals, the sprites don't look bad, but the color pallete looks unnapealing.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you found it fun. Will look into improving the visuals.

Very original idea! Had fun playing it and figuring it out, i think it has a lot of potential, I really liked the strategy part of it. The only critic I have are the graphics, the icons are great but I suggest to never use a mostly gray palette, most of the time it looks dull, which could turn some people off. Maybe something brown and something that resembles wood could go nice, or maybe go for a checkerboard. Overall I think the gameplay is very solid

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Sure, I'll work on improving the graphics in future versions.

I just loved this! For a jam game, I felt this was very well balanced, though obviously there's always room for improvement. I played this maybe idk 10+ times in a row and I won only 2 times, so there's just the right amount of challenge for me for a game like this. I hope you continue to develop this. I'd love to see this in the future with maybe little bit more polished graphics/ui/sounds/etc and many more new kinds of squares, orbs and other stuff! 10/10 indeed!

Developer

Thanks for the encouraging words. Will work on improving this.

Great game, love the idea, haven't been able to win even once. 10/10

Developer

Thanks for playing! Hope you do win sometime :)

I made it to the end in my second try. Seemed a bit easy! Cool concept!

Developer

I guess the balance needs some work. Or you're good at these games ;) Thanks for playing!

An interesting take on the theme. Some concepts might be a bit confusing if a player just started the game. For example the difference between goal deadline and energy since they both seem to decrease every turn.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Agree with the feedback. There are some mechanics that affect turns and energy in different ways, but yeah, it's not very clear right now. Will work on a tutorial to explain the concepts better.

Pretty original game here. Pretty steep learning curve also... The randomised game levels means it has lots of replayability. Deffo played the hardcore card well!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Wanted to provide a bit of a challenge.

Very interesting and unique interpretation of the theme! It's fun to think ahead about possible moves, consumables, and stats.

It was difficult at first, especially when it comes to statistics, as there are a few things to learn. But I guess that's the point of the game.

By the way, our games have almost the same name, hehe!

Well done.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, there's a bit of a learning curve. Am figuring out how to make the early game easier, like a tutorial, etc.
