I am currently in mode where spamming 1-5 yields in all fire slimes eliminated and unplayable screenshakes.

Until then I had genuinely fun. I think the new abilities are introduced too fast/early, so one does not really have the time to get to know them.

Developer

definitely they were introduced fast. I didn’t want the player to have to wait too long to experience the abilities, so I made the unlocks fast. Maybe too fast!

thanks for playing!

I had a great time with this one, very fun and well made. It's nice that you added a short tutorial too. I think spells autocasting would make the clicker/incremental upgrade part of the game stick out a little more. Good job :)

Interesting project! I think the art direction and design overall are really cool, it felt cohesive, and the audio design was good. I enjoyed playing around with it for a while but I would have needed more of a goal or reward to keep at it for longer.

The freezing feels pretty satisfying, though I think I was mostly just button mashing a bit aimlessly and that felt at times like a lot of work. Agree with other's feedback that some sort of auto-attack would have been nice so that the whole game could get quicker and more frantic and I could really feel more powerful.

Developer

I think auto-attack was the way to go by the end - because it's not like you can really plan to cast 5 spells in 30 seconds appropriately haha. Thanks for playing and thanks for the kind words!

Very satisfying to grind up score in this game! Mechanics were interesting enough to keep my invested in improving and it was an overall good experience!

I played this game until I got so powerful that I had more shards than I knew what to do with. Then I had to stop playing because the game crashed. :(

I do wish there was some kind of autofire system though. At first, I tried to time my ice beams carefully, but once I had my entire spellbar unlocked, I found it much simpler to just keep spamming the spells as soon as they recharged.

thanks for playing! I think there could be a future where upgrades allow you to use spells without pressing any buttons!

Very cool game! I love incremental games and you did a pretty good job on making it fun! Could keep playing it for a couple hours xD

Very funny! Honestly after some time I was not really playing the game but just challenge myself how many icepick i can control saving them from wave to wave.

Ah, I think you should place caution sign what holding Q can make earthquake in your place :D

Really addictive experience! I think the screen shaking added to it :D It worked even though it seems that you don't even have a goal or lose condition? Is there a limit or end to it? At some point, I started thinking that there is no much difference in whether I do something or do nothing in terms of progression :D But the action was catchy! Yet I think it would be cool to add at least some strategic or tactical element - to have some reward for doing anything else rather than just spamming random buttons :D

Developer

thanks for playing.

yeah, there’s no goal other than to collect faster and more. But I should’ve made something like a trophy system or a “beat the dev” goal.

Wow, it's a pretty addictive game haha.

The artistic part works very well, and so do the game mechanics.

I only had one problem, it may be a bug, because when using several skills at the same time the camera shake accumulated, and it was quite annoying.

Still, it's a great job! :D

Developer (1 edit)

yeah… I made the screen shake additive. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that 😂

thanks for playing!

I had a lot of fun playing this. It was a bit difficult to play because I'm not used to these types of games. I got used to it near the end. I will say though, so far, this is the game I've played the longest. Nice job!

Developer

thank you for the kind words!

I love incremental games so I was excited about this one. I enjoyed the active playstyle and thought the core gameplay loop was pretty fun. I definitely think it would be cool to see it expanded upon. The visuals were also nice, the fire slimes are very cute.

I lost myself in my game for a bit, definitely fits into the incremental game genre!
I think my only complaint was that there were too many buttons and cooldowns to manage. Games like cookie clicker have one main button and a bunch of passives, this game has 5 buttons, which felt like a lot for me.

Overall very fun - number go up!

Developer

Thanks for playing. It wasn't until recently did I realize incremental games needed to be simpler than this haha!

What an ice game.

One of those games where you play and play, then take a look at the clock and wonder where time has gone. An entry charming to the eyes and ears, keeping fingers increasingly busy on the ability buttons. This probably falls under the category "oddly satisfying".

This is the only comment I needed. I hope I distracted you with dopamine!

It  was fun little  game. The artstyle really fit into the type of game and the difficulty of it. I had a lot of fun smashing the slimes into ice shards and spamming abilities :D
