The bomb's clock was ticking
Story / Context
The famous hero "Mr guy" arrived at the depths of the sewer, only to find that the evil "Red Menace" has wired the whole place with bombs. Did he arrive on time or will the bomb wipeout the whole city, and perhaps some of the nearing states and/or prefectures?

Fun cutscene with humor.
The humor was definitely well done in this cutscene at the end. The part where the sound cuts out and then comes back with the explosion was a nice touch. The music fit well with the 8-bit pixel art style. A big "boom" sound would have been awesome for the explosion. Perhaps the color palette could have been more unified or limited to one specific tone to make it more stylistic, but it still looked well.
The characters were a bit small, but you could still recognize their movements, like checking their watch, which was well done. The story itself was funny, so that’s great.
Overall it was a fun entry, and well done!
I absolutely love it! The cutscene is both fun and creative, with a well-paced story that features a fantastic twist at the end. The villain’s animations, particularly the watch-checking, are a nice touch. The 8-bit art style and music fit perfectly, evoking a nostalgic feel. It instantly reminded me of the Prince of Persia.
What a fun entry, really enjoyed this one, actually laughed on my first watch the ending was a really nice twist. You nailed the story telling on this one, the setup of the villain taunting or hero is very well-paced and you didn't spoil the ending at all. The villain animations are a really nice touch too, especially the watch checking one stood out to me. My main critique is with the color palette. I felt the brightness of the player, villain, and background green clashed heavily with the muted stone bricks and dynamite in the rest of the scene. The art itself was really well done but this minor thing hindered it a bit imo. Overall, I thought this was a very well told story with a neat presentation and some very solid writing. Great job!
edit: oh and the music slaps too, but like others have said missing a nice big explosion sfx
Ohh I like 8bit clair de Lune :D
A nice typical Game cutscene with a funny monologue. Reminds me of The Messenger.
I like the Humor and the cutscene is quite nice. Music is cool and fitting ! What I miss are the Sounds. For the textboxes a beeep would be nice and of course a big BANG for the Explosion.
I really love that u decided to go for debussy After the Explosion. Could be a cutscene of a funny and storydriven plattformer :)
I really liked how the scene unfolds haha, it was something I honestly wasn’t expecting, and it was a pleasant surprise.
The 8-bit art style is very nostalgic for me, and you matched it perfectly with the sound effects and music, creating a completely cohesive and harmonious environment. Great job!
Good grief, Red Menace is a typical cartoon villain who falls into his own trap XD. This was fun. A change of ace between some of the more serious cutscenes. Not that I mind them, this is just a nice variation. Good work.
Wouldn't expect someone to use 8-bit style for this jam.
I like that your submission was funnier than most I've seen so far.
Also a story about planning a good timeframe is somehow very appropriate for a game jam :)
