As someone who is not a fan of FPS games, I have to say this one made me want to keep playing, probably has to do with the Bad Apple vibe this game has. The music really helped to not feel stressed about being chased by La Creatura.

I did not get the game but graphics are nice and simple. Need a way to down the mouse seasonable.

Pretty cool game! It took me a bit to realise what everything was and what i needed to do but when i did it was pretty neat. Having you see from the perspective of the enemy was a cool idea but i was a bit confused to what it was since i was just running around looking for something that i could interact with. Also like previous comments said indicators of what some of the ui elements mean would be helpfull. Overall cool game with a some rough edges but a good execution of the theme.

I always loved the level in Rayman 2 where you saw through the eyes of a monster hunting Rayman. I'm surprised this kind of thing isn't done more in games. At first your game felt really intense because of this! I was rushing to gather ammo. I also laughed a bit more than I should have at the game over screen, which I won't spoil for anybody here.

The simple black and white aesthetic goes a long way to making things feel surreal as well, helped by the monster animations.

There needs to be more feedback. While I appreciate the collision physics, the player is too fast with no footstep sound effects either. The timer is slightly buggy, especially with how it renders a new minute or seconds that are single-digit. The feedback for shooting an enemy is non-existent. Colliding with objects makes no sound.

Also perhaps the music dissonance was intentional, but I feel like you could make this a horror game by adding monster roaring sound effects and a more intense soundtrack that takes longer to loop.

Very interesting idea, the monster scared me a little.

For my taste, you could tweak the settings a little to make the character movement a little more fluid. I was running into walls and got stuck a few times. A label above the health and the ammo would have understood a little better what it was. I would love to see how much hp the monster has since I put 15 bullets into him and did not get any feedback other than I hit. And no! I do not suck =(

The soundtrack was really catchy =)

sorry this wasn't very clear but the gun is not to kill the creature that follows you constantly and tries to punch you that creature is invincible. The gun is to kill the monsters who also have guns. The creature constantly following you is meant more to be a nemesis from resident evil type character. Thanks for playing! I will try to make this more clear in the post jam  version

nice idea and action packed shooter, The other creatures camera made me a bit dizzy sometimes how it moved around :). Also did not expected other random people start shooting at me.

Did walls randomly break or was that a feature ?

Also nice upbeat music that fit this game, and where i struggled with 8 colors you just needed 2 wall done.

One small thing of note, if you do a countdown in seconds it looks very weird if you see 3:5 instead of 3.05 but that is just a minor thing

Developer

yes the walls randomly do explode and it is intentional the idea being that if you barricade yourself in a room with furniture it will only last for so long. thank you for the feedback and especially thank you for playing!

Took me a minute to realize that the enemies shooting at me and the guy in the corner were NOT the same. I had a really good moment where I was safe so I sat and watched the camera in the corner and suddenly I could see myself in its view so I turned around and the creature was right behind me. Terrifying! This game was pretty fun!

Very cool idea! I liked how surreal the environment was, felt like it went on forever. The camera could use a cap on how far up and down you can look, I accidentally flipped it upside down at one point. Good game!

An amazing game. I love the idea. The only problem I've had is that the interiors with the movement flicker a bit because of the frames and make me a bit dizzy.

But other than that an amazing job. congratulations!

yeah i should probably fix that but thanks for playing
