Great game!
It had a great sense of humor, the controls were good, the visuals and sound were good and the mechanics were on theme.
Nothing else to say than great job.

"Here is our exclusive interview with a tree. It said 'Hi.'" --- A talking tree? This is actually bigger news than finding Bigfoot :D

Great implementation of two points of view. I'm gonna have to come back and try this game again later to get the non-talking tree ending. My one suggestion would be to state the controls in game (not just in the description, though that's important too) because I was a little confused as to how to keep the drone in the air at first. (It's press Shift any case anyone missed it.)

Thanks for playing! The controls are on the screen in the corner, but we could have made them more noticeable/had a better tutorial if we had more time. Glad you liked it, and good luck getting better pictures!

So so funny and creative! I absolutely love your application of the theme and the color palette, and the graphics are great too. The controls were slightly confusing but still super fun. Such an original and fun idea!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for playing

"Height: Quite Tall
Feet: Big
Hair: Yes"

What a way to make a first impression! The cutscenes are quite fun and add just the right of breathing room between the gameplay for an experience such as this. I really wasn't expecting to see Nessie either!

The color palette was quite limited so I'm shocked how well you pulled off a pseudo-PSX aesthetic. I was definitely reminded of LSD: Dream Emulator while playing this, particularly with Bigfoot's model which looks as otherworldly as something from that game.

The camera snapping sounds and such were perfectly on-point, and I liked hearing Bigfoot's noises. The lack of music was either a strength or a weakness. I have trouble deciding, but perhaps more ambient noises at least would have added to the atmosphere.

Also perhaps using arrows and WASD separately to move the character/drone would improve things. I only really felt motivated to use my drone, so I gotta slightly knock points off of the dual perspectives section.

Great game!

Thank you for playing!!

I agree about the dual perspectives bit. One comment suggested that only the photographer should be able to take pictures, which I think would've worked. Maybe we could add a run button or something too to make them more mobile.

I'm really glad you liked it!! The atmosphere is definitely what we were going for first.

I say keep the drone pictures. More potential for good angles.

I really enjoyed the game. Great idea! Although it was hard to control at first, I got used to it pretty quickly. Clever use of the color pallet as well. I had a couple of glitches with bigfoot spinning around or just stopping randomly, but not that many of them. I also got stuck on some invisible walls a few times, but only for a few seconds. When I was chasing bigfoot I looked on my phone and even though I could hear him, I thanks to the colors had no idea where he was. Elusive indeed. It would be nice to have the trees as a solid objects so you would have to pilot the drone much more carefully. Also it would be great if the drone would start on the ground, That way you have more time to look at controls before it plummets to its death :D Very nice easter egg. Btw when I heard bigfoot for the first time I couldn't see him. It scared me so much having no Idea what it was :D  The idea of keeping photos is cool as well. It would be great if you could at least choose a photo for the newspaper.

Overall even with a few issues I really enjoyed it. Great work!

I liked this entry very much. The idea of having the drone to survey the area and find the bigfoot was very cool. I agree the controls were a little tricky at first but I didnā€™t have any trouble with them. I think taking pictures with the drone is too easy, it would had been cool if you could only survey and then you had to actually go there on foot. I did that a couple things, maybe a compass or minimap would help orient in that case. Great shader work. I have a soft spot for dithering myself :)

Very fun and nice use of the color palette, like others have said it was a bit hard to control, it is mostly due to the fact that i am right handed and the drone was on the right so my brain tells me move right hand to move the drone. Maybe its done on purpose to make it more challenging, in that case it worked.

cool game with funny graphics and concept, I really liked it, itā€™s somewhat reminiscent in spirit of voices of the void, itā€™s a pity that during the game jam there wasnā€™t enough time to fill out the game more, but itā€™s very cool

I loved it! Very interesting idea and nice using of the color palette =)
It was a bit difficult to control both screens at the same time because I was using my right hand to look around on the left screen and wasd (which is the left hand) to fly around on the right screen :D
Had a funny glitch where bigfoot was just spinning around when I cornered him in the woods lol
Also got some points for pictures where bigfoot wasn't really visible for me, but an evaluation system like this is very cool!

This game is so funny lol. The noises bigfoot makes when he notices he's being photographed is hilarious. The headlines at the end "bigfoot says hi" is the cherry on top. I liked your use of the palette and how you incorporated the theme! Also I immediately crashed the drone right when I started lol.

Absolutely love everything about this one, I think the way it fits the theme is so creative and fun. I think the drone controls are clunky in a charming way, I love the art direction and I'm a huge cryptid fan so this tickles my fancy, hats off to you! Also, I think I found your easter egg and its great too, classic.

I'm really glad you liked it!! It was a lot of fun to make

Did you know? There is a monster in your pound :D

I liked the game. Good controls and an interesting concept. Good use of the two points view!

You found the easter egg!

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it :)

Man that was one of the best games I've played on this jam so far, not even kidding

Idk what is so appealing about it, but I loved it, really simple concept but fun

I just think the photographer could have more exclusive use, i barely used him. I took one picture of bigfoot with him but it was far away and got me 0 point

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I think I agree with that, maybe we could've made them sneakier than the drone so you could get up close.

Really fun game of chaseā€¦ glad he had so many spare drones while I learned to fly it
