Stab stab stab! A cute arcade-like game! Simple and short experience!
The demo boss fight is also interesting that you have to uncorrupt fellow takos and send them back to the boss, a fun mechanic while simple controls the player has!
If there are some effect and sounds this would definitely improve the experience!
Cute character sprites and animations.
Some improvement suggestions:
- Add sounds! Just a BGM and simple attack and jump sounds would improve a lot the game's feel.
- The condition to get to the boss is not clear. It would help a lot if there was some kind of progress bar showing how many takos saved versus required.
- There doesn't seem to be any reason to jump up the platforms. Maybe consider giving the player buffs for reaching a high platform.
- Is there a game over screen or is it just the boss dialogue at the end?
Not bad, could do well to add sfx and effects to the game to help the feedback
Good short game, one bit odd thing that I noticed was that the Takodachis would stop falling when double jumping with Gura, don't know if that was intended though. A bit of music would've been great to have.
I think that the content available is cool, and there's a boss fight as well, The jump mechanic is actually good, I never fell because of a miss click or a jump.
For the cover photo, I'd have used a normal Gura photo instead of Red Gura, since I think that she isn't playable in the game.

This was a fun simple game. I liked the idea, but I think the "Clear Condition" to get to the boss could be a bit better. If it was a combination of getting high enough and clearing enough corruption, it would be better as I got to the point where I just stayed on one platform cleansing the Takos coming down.
The game is simple and fun but I feel more can be added when trying to purify the takodachi like a jump boost.
This is pretty addicting, and I can see and feel the doodle jump inspiration. Not sure if this was because I beat Ina first and then died, but imo dying in the boss fight shouldn't take you all the way back to the beginning. Pretty cool though. Took me a little bit to clear that first stage. Good job!
Thank you for the feedback! I'll see about implementing a checkpoint system if I get around to more levels. I didn't have enough time to implement my ideas for a level after Ina.
Pretty fun for short bursts, has that same addictive feel with other endless games like icy tower and doodle jump. Nice!

Gura is red on the cover but not in the game?
