This game is really really cute! I am a sucker for cute concepts so you made me very happy. I really like the visuals of the game, although it might be a little too dark for me at least (That might just be cause I'm playing this while its quite sunny outside). Either than that I really enjoyed the gameplay and the way you decided to control the fireflies is amazing.

The rules are a little too wordy and its a lot to read. Diagrams and images really help with making things clear. Overall loved this a lot! Great work!

Cute! Simple, fun, and polished for a Jam game. I really like the soul of this game, I think this game ahs the most charm of any other game I've played so far.

That being said, I would have liked to see more puzzle elements, and the game was trivially easy. This isn't a bad thing, just something that you might want to expand upon if you develop the project more!

This was a well-designed puzzle game, and I did like how you implemented sound and music into the levels. The firefly animations were nicely done. I would have liked to have seen some more challenged in the later levels but overall, it was a fun game to play. I wished I could have moved the fireflies a bit faster but think that might have had something to do with my mouse settings. For your how to play, adding diagrams/images would be helpful since visuals allow the player to understand what to do quicker. I really enjoyed the game's relaxing ambiance :D

Super polished and was fun to play! I really enjoyed the way you interact with the fireflies and how you progress by using fireflies as coloured gate switches. Although, I do have a problem with sacrificing my babies! Hopefully they are in firefly heaven... :s

I did feel like I cheated a bit since If I moved my cursor far away quickly the fireflies followed extremely quickly trivialising the timing of the lights slightly. Possibly making them de-select automatically when your cursor is too far away.

I also thought the game could do with additional challenge by making touching the walls remove/hinder the fireflies in some way to increase the amount of precision you need to guide them on the journey to the jar.

I had fun with this game, complete all 8 levels fairly quickly but I enjoyed it none the less. I really like the mechanic where you had to pick up the fireflies and guide them towards the jar without them hitting the light as well as using coloured fireflies to open up doors.
All in all a solid game, well done gamers!

An enjoyable game to play. I loved the visuals especially. I also liked the simplicity of it and I liked how the different levels and mechanics were incorporated.

The mechanics of this game are so clean and I love the simplicity of it. The fireflies are cute and kinda make me wanna join them, even if some are only there to sacrifice themselves! The music was also very calming. The rules could have maybe been explained in game as opposed to long text on the main menu, but otherwise it was simple enough to learn.

Oooo now this was a very clean and slick game, I really enjoyed it - especially all those small details that added to the polish you put in here: from the chains that hold up each level, to the slight turn of the firefly models when they change direction, to the shimmering effect they create behind the slats of open doors. This was really really cool in both concept and implementation, well done :)

I really enjoyed playing this game! The mechanics were simple and easy to understand. I think the level design and progression of difficulty was well executed, and made the game easy to understand. I think it would have been a little easier to learn the rules if they had popped up as the player progressed, as the many rules were a little bit confusing. Additionally, I accidentally went through one of the walls, and the fireflies got stuck in it. This didn't cause any major issues though as I could just restart the level. Overall it was great, and I think given how quickly it was built, it's really impressive :)

Well done!

I found this to be a very interesting game that I quite enjoyed, and I can really see how the core mechanics demonstrated here can be used to create more complex and challenging puzzles and levels.

I also really liked the visuals of the game, especially the grainy type of filter that was applied to the game. This grain filter made the game feel as though it was nighttime in the game, yet without the game being too dark to see what was going on.

I feel that perhaps the game could use some more audio whilst playing the levels, perhaps even the audio used on the how to play screen could be used for the levels as well.

Perhaps a tutorial level may be more effective than a How To Play screen for players that don't like having to read a lot.

Your game had a really interesting puzzle mechanic and it felt satisfying to complete each level. The levels were fairly easy, but you did an excellent job of teaching the player how to play through your level design. I especially liked your concept of some of your plain lights turning on and off, but I think this could perhaps have been better explored through the use of more varied rhythms.

Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience.

I really enjoyed playing the game levels and how they all got more difficult. Those poor fireflies though, sacrificing themselves to set the rest free, you'll be remembered Red/Green/ and blue fireflies.

Nice simple puzzle game, good progression and pretty visuals. Would have been nice for some more audio, or music across the levels. The puzzles did the job but felt like there was potential for some more challenge, the solutions were sometimes a bit too obvious and linear. But still a very enjoyable game, though I do feel sad for the poor colorful fireflies :'(   (Jack Rathbone)

A nice game with great simplicity and aesthetic, though I often found myself wondering that something was missing to add to the ambiance, like music, otherwise it was a joy to play. (SaibaShadow - Mega Parkour Studios)

I like the game is a brilliant game. Something that I'd love to play on mobile. The conflict of wanting to save all the fireflies but not being able to creates a great dynamic. I liked how the levels looked complicated but weren't actually as complicated as they look, it made me feel smart. The fireflies themselves were well animated and were nice to look at.

I was a bit disappointed that there was no background music specifically Fireflies by Owl City, but I recognize the problem with having rights to use the song. All jokes aside I wish the rules were a bit shorter but overall I really like the game. Well done! (An Ordinary Day- Sabelo Nkwanyana).

Love the movement of the fireflies and how they are animated. It was a nice simple layout that was easy to get going for any user I could imagine. Hope to see this expand with more environmental features!

I really liked how the game was played out! Ngl, I wish I was at your level in terms of technical design. If the level design was a bit more tricky and difficult, I would have enjoyed the thrill much more! Otherwise, love the look, love the theme, love the storyline.

P.S, I kinda skimmed through some parts of the rulebook. It was a lot of reading.😅
