Thecontrols and camera felt really smooth and nice! It took me a little bit to figure out the bar on the top was a balance indicator but otherwise  good job!

Very fun and funny concept! Wish my bark could control my sheep for a bit longer but otherwise I really dug the art, writing and vibe! Would love to play a more flesh out version of this :)

I really liked the writing and premise of this! Makes me want to see games I've played with a cat added into the mix XD

Small suggestion, but it would have been nice to hold WASD for movement instead of pressing down everytime I wanted to move a block.

Super cute art and theming ! Would love to see an expansion of this in the future :)

A braai organization game was something I didn't know I needed in my life XD

Really satisfying game to play and great theming! (and nice touch of drawing in a little reference sheet of what should go where on the braai). Only thing I wish was that I had a little hint of what I did wrong when I can't braai anymore bc of a position issue.

This was super fun to play and there was a lot of gameplay depth for a short jam! Really liked the sacrifice mechanic and the option to raise the threat when I wanted. Really created an interesting risk vs reward dynamic. Well done!!!

Art is super charming and I loved how you have a "mini-tutorial" in the start menu!.
Wish I could have gottwn to climb quicker like a real lizard but otherwise cute and fun game!

Aesthetic and sound were super awesome! it took me a little bit to figure out what was clickable but otherwise gameplay theming was on point!

(As always w/ you guys) UI, animation and juice is soooo nice!!!
Also this game has further convinced me I gotta check out Rive at some point.

This kinda reminded me of Inscryption which is one of my favorite games of all time :D

I really liked how it felt like I was progressing/improving through playing each round by figuring out the point value of each card. Also props to fleshing out the art and environment outside the card game.

I suggest that maybe in a future iteration it would be cool to play with a set hand of cards where my hand doesn't change every time I place a card, which could heighten the game's strategy and tension.

Also, there could be more info about the opponent's hand when you're playing, like you can flip over their card to see what they've played but in exchange, they can take a card out of your deck which could be an interesting dynamic.

I think you’ve got a solid base and would love to see it taken further!

Man, I never knew dice could be so addiciting XD

You've hit the theme spot on and the game loop is some of the most addicitng ever, well done! Would love to play a mobile version of this in my free time.

It took me a lot of deaths to fully understand the mechaics but once I got a grasp it felt fun to play but still pretty challenging and requires alot of thinking, which is good!

I really liked the simple satisfaction of getting a ball! The art and music made it feel like a very relaxing and vibey game :)

I'm currently obsessed with tower defense games, so this game really scratches that itch of being fun and stressful! I would have liked to have seen some sort of visual indication of where the zombies would start coming from when I first started playing, since I first started to build my defence on the opposite side of the map XD

Loved the name ;D

It's a really fun-to-play game and both parts were smooth and easy to play with (I really liked the wobble physics). Plus,  there's alot of stuff you can do post-jam since it's such a fun (and funny) concept.

The game is really relaxing and the controls are intutative and smooth to use! The only suggestion I'd make for a future iteration would be a reset and/or delete button so that the player can change things up if they want to.

Voted for community favourite- Diyanka Govender-Four Old Men

I liked the premise of the gmae and the pixel art aesthetic of the dialouge and chaaracters but the game did end abruptly

Good platforming game and I do like the swapping mechanic concept

Amazing aesthetics and very compelling story, excellent job! What I really loved is how easy it is to play, so that those with no game experience can play and get the message of the story

Charming little quiz game that reminded me of the old flash quiz games I played as a kid :D

Controls are smooth and the level design was fantastic to play around. I did encounter a small bug in my first playthtough where I flew out of the level, but other than that this, felt fun and well design and a good take on decoy

Cute aesthetic and well-written story

This game is awesome, loved the aesthetic and I liked how you figure out how to play the game as you progress

Charming artsyle, I would recommend a tutorial or how to play of some sort to give context to the game

Simple yet addictive!

Loved the retrowave aesthetics! But I did think there should have been a bit more variety in platform movement

The controls felt really smooth and fun to interact with, this could be a good educational game to bring awareness to poaching and I really liked the aesthetics, it reminded me of "A Short Hike"

The concept of throwing your limbs around in a platform is really cool, I really love the guy's little walk cycle, it needs a bit more work on the controls but this is a charming game.

This is a really well designed, aesthetic and polished game!

After playing Wilmot's warehouse, I was happy to play another organization game, really charming and lightherted :D The controls felt a little sticky but otherwise it was calming and relaxing

The aesthetic to your game was so well executed and charming. I could see you paid a lot of attention to your art, character designs and dialogue, all of which I loved! The distortion of the screen as my sanity went down was a nice touch and was a good and quick visual indication of how badly I was doing XD. I found the checkpoint system was very helpful. I do feel you should have added a quick “How to Play” at the start since it did take me some time to figure out how to use the gun. But otherwise well done! It was a fun play :D

I loved the core mechanic of the game, playing around with reflecting the beam of light in the mirrors was fun. The level design was well executed, balanced and gave me a real sense of progression and challenge as I played. I really wanted to play some more levels when I finished. The enemies are also well implemented, and I liked how they made me feel a sense of danger in an otherwise relaxing game. It was a little frustrating to go back to the start every time I died. I hope you decide to continue working on this game since its engaging and you could potentially do a lot with it in the future :D.

(1 edit)

The aesthetic of this game is amazing! The art, lighting and sound tie in together really nicely to give off a futuristic and cyberpunk feel (I liked how you even changed the mouse up). The tutorial video at the beginning was helpful and the presentation of everything was super well done and polished (and I loved the ending XD). However, I did feel though I wasn’t in any danger when moving through the levels since even when bumping into robots, nothing happened. I also think the bar at the top could have stood out a bit more since I didn’t notice it the first time I played.

This was a well-designed puzzle game, and I did like how you implemented sound and music into the levels. The firefly animations were nicely done. I would have liked to have seen some more challenged in the later levels but overall, it was a fun game to play. I wished I could have moved the fireflies a bit faster but think that might have had something to do with my mouse settings. For your how to play, adding diagrams/images would be helpful since visuals allow the player to understand what to do quicker. I really enjoyed the game's relaxing ambiance :D

A great horror game! The aesthetics, sound design and assets were well implemented. The game definitely made me feel uneasy when playing and I did get a bit jumpy the first time I played XD. The flashlight mechanic was really cool since it added to the overall horror aesthetic and made me feel anxious since I couldn’t see everything. Like some of the other comments I feel that it would have been better if the sanity meter dropped slower since I wanted to have more time to get my bearings around the space and explore since I felt like I had to rush around the map. But overall, a well-designed horror game for a game jam :D

The cutscene at the beginning was so strange and hilarious XD. I liked how you continued the humour into the gameplay. The animations for everything was well done. For a group of first years who have had little experience with unity, I'm really impressed with what you put out. You should be proud of yourselves :D

I really loved the audio and visual design of the game, it definitely gave an unsettling low-poly retro feel, and I enjoyed the cynical comedy of the notes and dialogue as you piece together the story. I did feel the pressure of having eyes on me while reading through documents, so you achieved an anxious feel nicely :D

I think maybe if you choose to continue to update this game what would be cool would be adding additional gameplay features to the data destruction process, so it feels more like you're an IT guy going through a whole deletion process.

I loved how as you progress through the game the effects get more and more unsettling. The sound design, animation elements, art and the image hover elements was a really nice touch and added to the overall atmosphere :). The writing was conveyed well and was an engaging read, but I would have liked to have seen more options in choosing different links to give the player more options and choice as to where the story goes and ends up. Its always fun to see a cool Twine game :D

I like how the lighting and sound design achieved a very cool horror-feeling atmosphere and it kinda reminded me of the hallways in The Shining. It took me a couple of tries to figure out how to avoid the death doors but I did like the process of learning through gameplay :)
