Great game!

Great mechanic! Love how well it fits the theme too.

Really fun concept. I loved the levels with the spinning blocks that really got the speed up!

VERY NICEEE :D

Wow! Such a creative game! This is definitely one of the most original game ideas in the jam, and the gameplay was perfect. I wish that there were more levels- it feels as if much more could come. I certainly hope you develop it further!

Developer

Thanks :)). Rope physics took my time. A little time left for level design. I will continue to develop surely :))

Awesome game! The concepts of rolling the rope to gain to move, and using the rolling platforms to swing was really fun. Also the tutorial finger at the beginning was very smart.

this was probably my favorite game so far in the jam, i think there is a bug with the ball where it still has a little bit of friction so you can spin the ball to move.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback :). It is not a bug. Sometimes you need to move a little on flat surface. You can rotate and move a little :)

This was really fun! The spinning blocks are great!

Really cool idea! Loved the gameplay, especially when using the spinning blocks to swing around

In my brainstorm session I also thought about making a game using this mechanic, but I chose another theme because I thought it would be very difficult to implement the rope physics. Congratulations for implementing it very well and still having made a lot of cool level design ideas in such a short time!

Developer

Thanks :)

Yeah I agree it's really smooth and working well, the last level with a bit of acceleration and just "rope rope", really satisfying.

And the ball rotating to go forward is smart (but on a longer game I guess it'd be annoying to rotate like that), but on this little prototype it works really well!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback. Idk I think a faster paced platformer could be better not annoying I guess :D

Nice implementation of the rope mechanic, It worked very well!

Thank you :))

Fun and unique mechanic! Would be cool to see what else you could use it for

Developer

Thanks :)

The way you rotate does feel a little wonky, but over all that's a pretty creative take on the theme with solid level design highlighting the directions this mechanic could go.

Developer

Thanks! It was really hard to find a good configuration for rope physics. That's all I could do for such a small time. Thank you for you feedback :))

I loved coating yourself with rope, gives a lot of momentum. Could be a hard-core platformer game. Awesome!

Submitted(+1)

Loved it! I was so disappointed when it ended though.

How did you do the physics with curling up in the rope? That was super impressive. This is a really neat concept and you had fun levels! The one with the sword took me a bunch of tried but I ended up getting it by flinging the ball on top of the first block so it was just resting there. One thing I noticed is that I was able to move the ball without a rope by just twirling around the ball, I'm not sure if this was intentional or not. Either way, I definitely exploited it to help on some levels >:) Thanks for sharing! This was fun to play.

Lol that rope physics really took forever to make :D. The way you passed level, that's not an exploit. That way is also legit to pass to level. This is a physics based game so whatever works! Thanks for your review :)

Yay! Fun little game. I really like rope mechanic.

Loved it, was pretty cool. Very very nice. I had some good laughs playing this.

Developer

Thanks :)
