Amazing ideas for the puzzles. I wish that there was some sort of way to move the camera to see better. I do love the level design, made me think more and more after each level.
what a nice idea with brilliant gameplay! very good job 5 stars!
This really reminded me of problems that a lot of healthcare industry faces for storing medicines at various temperature and this made me fall for this game. Keep it up! Would love to see what other mechanics you would come up with to add more puzzles to it.
I love the amazing art style(reminds me of Crossy Road). The puzzles were challenging yet a treat to play. The witty dialogue adds a nice touch to the overall game :D.
1. The first couple where good tutorials, from there the levels had a good difficulty
2. Some of the temperature reads and cart placements were a little finicky maybe having them snap to locations could help?
3. The logic was a little hard to understand but I got it by the last puzzle
4. Art looked great, and I liked the little bit of story
yo that was awesome , i was shocked by the amount of care it felt like i am playing a released game (aside from the mouse responsivity - mentioned previously in comments) very polished also the fun part was there , enjoyed playing ur game
Super polished feel, loved the dialogue and the puzzles were very engaging! Definitely curious to see what levels you make in the future, the mechanics seem like there could be countless possibilities. No bugs I found, felt a bit easy but like it would lead into more levels (which I hope it will). Solid game!
Man I love 2d isometric graphics. I had a favorite game as a kid called Crusader and this reminded me of those graphics again. The music choice is really nice for the mood of the game, very relaxing puzzle-solving. You designed the puzzles themselves quite well! The use of the theme was really nice, and when you started adding multiple doors into the mix that really started to make it interesting!
Interesting concept. The challenges are quite simple at first, but then they add new possibilities making the task more complex.
I think the HUD/GUI is very large compared to the playable area, just like dragging with the mouse is sometimes very unresponsive.
Just a few details that can make it even better =]
Great take on the theme and a nice head scrather at times. The game looks great and is very well polished. I would say the controls are a little unresponsive at times it feels like, though that may be due to me using a laptop. In any case a great game you should be proud of!
A very good puzzle game. I really amazed with the concept you came up with. Levels are good and I felt the difficult at the last level. Temperature of the door should be displayed all the time. Moving the trolleys sometimes was frustrating (especially that cooler from the door in level 3). Overall it was a good experience. Well Done!
A really good puzzle game that plays well on the jam's theme. I also loved the text messages along the side - it really helped to add some personality and humour. Regarding your questions for feedback:
1)I thought they were a good balance of easy/hard, with a good difficulty curve as the game progresses.
2) I didn't spot any bugs/glitches whilst playing.
3) Everything was intuitive and logical.
4) I really enjoy the minimalist style, and all of the assets fit the game's aesthetic really well.
Kudos for including music as well. The only improvement I would suggest is maybe having the assets lock to the grid when moving, just to prevent any fiddly overlaps, and a current/needed room temperature gauge would save having to click on the door periodically. Otherwise, a very solid and enjoyable game that I would love to see more levels for. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it! Agreed on snapping the objects to the grid in future, and keeping the current/required temperature always on the UI would be good too. Thanks for the great feedback.
Fun fact: The lack of grid snapping means that you can get the trolley stuck between the doors in level 4. Thankfully it’s not an issue that most players have run into so far.
I really enjoyed solving these puzzles. I think that the door temperatures should be somewhere visible all the time that I don't need to click the door constantly. I also thought that there was too much messages, but it was good that you didn't need to read all of it before you can continue. So I didn't really bother to read all of the messages, I liked to solve them by testing that what can I interact with.
Then some feedback on your questions
1. It had a good difficult curve, at first the levels were simple and they got bit more complex with time but not too much. So the puzzles were easy at first and at the end of the game not too hard, but not too easy either.
2. I didn't find any bugs!
3. Even if I didn't read all the messages I still figured out how all of it works.
4. Art and visuals were great! Maybe the panels could be bit better looking.
Thanks for the detailed feedback! Definitely a few points that I want to improve on now that you've mentioned them. Glad you enjoyed it :)
A good puzzle game, it was a pleasure to both read messages and play
Fun sliding puzzle game.
