Overall Great Job!
controls are a bit off I got caught on the cord and couldn't move but all in all nice work
Nice game. There is some-time where we are stuck, but levels are short, this was not disqualifying. I just wonder, why you choose those controls ? Why not let the free camera, and make your plug follow the forward/backward direction of the camera (and rotating if needed) with arrow up/down, and translate left/right of the camera with arrow left/right.
Knife is a good addition. Music is a but repetitive.
Graphics are nice, perhaps too much bloom.
Overall game was fun, and the idea minimalist and fit the them.
Good work.
I liked these fun little puzzles! I must say tho, the game was a bit laggy. Idk if its just a problem on my end or if it has to do with the WebGL build. Anyhow, good stuff!
Let me plug that in for you. A cool idea that suits the theme and was fun to play. The camera maybe needs a little tweaking for the tighter spaces, otherwise good.
Nice game!
The presentation is quite nice, except for the excessive bloom others mentioned, but I found the controls a bit clunky: personally I would replace the mouse wheel with Shift+W and Shift+S to go up and down and maybe use the wheel to zoom in and out the camera, since navigating near the walls is rather hard.
It takes the Theme literally where you literally connect the plug to a socket. There are some puzzle elements to it but not too hard. It seems that all models in this game are custom made which is impressive. (correct me if I'm wrong)
Also in the menu, I like that you can slightly move the camera with your mouse position.
One criticism is that sometimes the walls are blocking the camera. Maybe can be further improved by adding camera collision with the wall and make it transparent when it is blocking the view.
Lightings in this game are too bright. It not making me hard to see, but its just annoying.
The only challenge I had in this game was getting stuck and unable to move for no reason. I don't know if its the game physics which does this, but even I can restart the level it happens so often and its really annoying.
The puzzles are ok and sounds are good.
I really like the idea of a simple grab plug put in outlet. It really pays homage to the adulting life where you're looking for that plug behind the dresser and you just can't find it..... =)
Great idea and concept. I did find a few bugs such as rotating the plug caused my screen to go all white and the game froze. But those can be fixed.
Thank you for sharing.
I liked the concept which is funny, the textures and models are also nice, i just personally find that the lighting is a bit strong, and i had a bug when i touched the cardboard box. but the game is fun.
Seems like quite the tripping hazard. Haha in all seriousness I really like this game. Very satisfying and relaxing :D Though I did end up confusing myself when I tried to plug it in upside down.
Great UI, gameplay, menu, sounds and particles. I only really have 2 gripes, the first one is the excessive amount of bloom. Some of the walls are so bright and glowy it's, well crazy. The second one is, sometimes it feels like I'm playing hide and seek with the outlet. I think it would be more fun to try to make it more mechanically challenging rather than just place the outlet in a weird spot. But again, it's still a solid submission. And the menu is really impressive, coming from someone who really struggles with that kind of stuff. Also this isn't a problem I have with the game, but rather an error I found, the wrong faces on the watter bottle are being culled. I can see the back faces but not the front facing faces.
Thanks for playing our game!! The bloom on the Web version for some reason was much more than that of the downloaded version which we were not quite able to fix in time sadly. Really interesting feedback about gameplay, definitely could be more interesting and immersive gameplay. I’m glad you enjoyed our UI and thanks for leaving such a great review!
nice music, nice general concept. I too had an issue where you can no longer complete a level after rotating. I was able to recreate this on level 2 and no combination of mouse look and WASD will get the plug aligned with the socket
simple idea presented beautifully. in some level it is breaking after rotation. like the a and d keys stop working in crunched up places after rotation.
Thanks for playing! The freezing was intentional for creating sort of a "limit" for how far you could stretch the cord, with the point being to back up to relax the cord a bit, but noticeably we didn't get that mechanic implemented very well and it's still pretty buggy. Sorry that happened to you! I'm glad you liked the rest of the game though.
I feel silly but I couldn't get the cord to go up/higher.
I could go forward, backwards, and rotate the head but was unable to lift it to the plug-in level. Disappointing because I really enjoyed the overall vibe, design, music, etc!
If you can tell me how to raise it up I will give it another go!
Really relaxing music and ambience, it may be brighter in the browser version but I kinda love the almost angelic feel of it haha!
Honestly a fun game that I could play for quite a while and listen to the music. Somewhat akin to a walking simulator, a simple task repeated as a means to tell a story!
My only criticism is I somehow managed to get stuck inside of a wall lol.
All in all great game and great job! :D
Hello, thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it! Yeah, don't know what was going on with the lighting haha, but interesting! Didn't think of the idea of telling some sort of story during the gameplay, I like it! Sorry about the plug getting stuck though, that and the cord gave us a lot of problems during development lol
