Super cute visuals! The mechanic is really fun with multiple enemies/enemy that takes multiple hit's per attack. But when you are fighting a sword enemy with a good amount of health one on one it can get to be a bit repetitive. Wait for an attack, attack, wait again. Much more engaging for me when there are more enemies with less help to zip around and feel like a bad a**. Great work!
My machine had some difficulties running this while streaming. I played it off stream and it was definitely a more smooth experience and my clicks actually registered as intended. But for the on stream experience, you can find it here:

This game captures the precision and reflex of katana fights very well. I appreciate the quality of life level select and regenerating health.

Really amazing game. Super innovative and interesting take on the theme. Gameplay is really fun and unique (and very difficult). Took a while to realize where the player health was, but the UI looks pretty good too. The design for the last fight was a bit frustrating though with certain things like:

Very interesting mechanic indeed! Maybe I'm missing something, but personally, I would have added a parry/counter-attack mechanic if timed correctly to add even more dynamism, rhythm and game feel to the game overall. But anyway is really good ^^

Sorry if I don't respond to all the comments any more. I will still read them all though! The jam has been a lot of fun and the feedback is always appreciated. However, I use quite a lot of energy to think of things to type, since I want each reply of mine to feel unique and give a sense of appreciation, but I can't really do that if I just respond the comments in just a few words.
That was really cool! Loved the mechanic of it. I agree with some of the other consensus, it would have been nice to have an indicator that showed that you couldn't dash. I also found it challenging when trying to time dashes. But the feeling of getting the sequence of dashes just right was awesome!

Very cool and unique mechanics. My only nitpicks is I wish there was some kind of HUD or indication that my dash is unavailable closer to the player, like, maybe they turn grey, look winded, have a radial timer over their head, or something, because yeah I'd miss a dash, then try to dash again, but it's on cooldown and doesn't feel right to click and not move, maybe even consider some kind of audio/visual feedback for a click while dash on cooldown. Also, not crazy about enemies moving off screen, and then attacking back from places you cant see them.

I failed the last boss 6 times and i liked it, failing also is fun. Hitted me like dark souls - made me angry failing and wanted to try again!

The bossfigth was a bit clunky, but other than that a really nice entry and a good game with a nice fit on the theme!

Very fun game with a fair amount of polish and good balancing. Reminds me of Furi. The art does the job, and the music could be a bit more intense in my opinion (perhaps because I associate this game with Furi haha).
While, yes, you do 'connect' your katana with the enemies and can chain attacks together, I feel like the theme of the gamejam is not very obvious in this game.
All-in-all a very good performance for this gamejam though!

Great game. Very fun. I will say the bosses are so much more fun to play than the enemies who can feel a little boring.
Man, Yuuki is scary haha. Too tired to try again right now so I couldn't beat him, butI really like this game. Aiming feels weird at first but then it gest pretty satisfying. Add some more juice and personnality in the visuals and you've got a great little game. Got me playing for quite a bit of time already as is.
