Cool idea checkpoints would of been appreciated since it's pretty difficult. As with several of the other mouse control games it's really easy to click out of the screen and cause mess-ups especially in this game since space scrolls the webpage.
For this game specifically I think an option to lock the start of the vector to the center point in the screen to decide where the mouse click direction was would of worked out better since you occasionally would screen wrap and then have to move the mouse too far to fire the way you want to.
There also I think was some bug(?) with the animations not displaying right (The bats specifically looked kinda weird like the sprite was shifted on the sheet)

The shifted sprite is a weird artifact from the low aspect ratio. I tried forever to fix it but it just would work for some odd reason. and sometimes it isnt there. Also this game was originally (and still intended) for download/desktop only. I only added it as in browser after the fact for people that didn't wanna download it.
Very cool concept. Maybe a bit hard for me unless I am missing something to start, and the controls are a bit different/awkward. Couldn't get up high enough after killing the first skeleton and getting the chest. Nonetheless very nice presentation and well put together experience!
Very nicely done! Interesting idea of using a weapon to reach platforms out of reach. If there was one enhancement I’d suggest it would be allowing for short side to side movements, but I assume that’s part of the challenge.
Love it! Graphics are excellent, sound is great, and the gameplay is addicting. I would definitely play a fleshed out version of this (maybe a roguelike with levels and some upgrades or something ala Downwell?)
The shotgun mechanic works really well, and the art for the game is really good! I like the challenging difficulty of the game, but a checkpoint or two would have been nice. Really well done!
I really like the concept. I though it was pretty fun using the gun's momentum to platform and climb the tower. I don't really like have to wait to charge my jump each time I land, but its not that big of a deal. The art is really professional, and the music fits so well with the theme. The biggest problem in my opinion are the controls, and the fact that is reeaaaaaaalllllly challenging. I don't know if I am not gamer enough, but it was really hard trying to juggle holding the jump button and timing the shotgun blast along with trying to move in the air. Also checkpoints would be nice. But you gotta wonder, how does he hold the shotgun without hands 🤔 ????
This is a pretty fun game and I love the shotgun mechanic of it. The art WOW is it amazing
So I loved how this game looked .I loved the sounds and music .I loved how it felt playing it, like everything you did from small jump to double jump and make sure you shoot the skeleton before quickly using the momentum to get to the other side so I don’t fall down a again, DAMMIT. I ran into trouble with the platforms that fell, I couldn’t charge my jump enough to make it so I could get enough height. But aside from that little squeak it was a fun time.
Love the art, the music, the game feel. Very slimy. And in this context I think this is something positiv :P
The music, art and sounds are all super nice, they felt super polished. The controls were a little confusing at first and I wish you wouldn't slide off edges, and I wish the game was a little easier.
Absolutely love the presentation here! The concept was simple and well executed. Good stuff!
