nice retro fps with a tron vibe
As a fellow Godot user and fan, I love to see the engine put to such a good use. The graphics are as retro as it can get, really nice to see a 3D entry following the limitations of this jam, amazing work! I don't know if anyone else reported this problem, but the mouse sensitivity was a bit high for me.
Try the windows build (if you can and have time), see if the mouse sensitivity is better. For some reason it was a lot higher in the web build than in the windows build and in the editor, so I turned down the sensitivity by half in the web build but I had to submit the game to the jam so I didn't have time to fine tune it.
Great aesthetic, well placed checkpoints and a fun double jump mechanic via shooting. Not much to say here other than I really liked it!
The graphics are pretty interesting, the music and SFX are cool, the design of the enemies is a bit simple, the concept is great but the controls felt a bit bad, like the mouse was uncontrollable in some situations, overall a really solid and great game.
I don't disagree, though if you could be more specific about what made the controls feel bad that would be helpful because I tried to make them feel good. Also, the camera mouse control is better in the windows build (if you're playing the web version), at least I think so anyway, so maybe if you have time try that and see if it's better.
Thanks for the feedback!
Okay, i played the two versions and the Windows version felt a lot better than the HTML one, the problem with the HTML version is that sometimes the mouse make some weird movements and i feel desoriented with that. But still really great game.
I really liked the gun recoil, you shoot and you can jump to other platforms, that's really nice!
Jeez I'm really bad at jumping haha But a super cool concept! Also really like the color scheme, super Tron-like!
Really dig the graphics.
Such a nice job! All of the squares add a lot of depth and perspective - making it easy to tell how far away the platforms are. I agree with others that it is difficult, but the checkpoints save it from being too frustrating.
I liked the use of the recoil mechanic! The aesthetic of the game is really nice too. You don't see many 3D games with a low resolution, but they're always interesting.
Very fun. Hard but since the checkpoints are fairly generous your not stuck going back through things you've completed very much.
I got cheap shotted a couple times on the first tall wall climb but besides that great game no complaints.
Really nice game! Good job for that 3D implementation. A bit hard but I had fun!
Love the idea and the look of the game. Very intuitive and fun to play!
I really like the vapor wave aesthetic. Overall, the game is really hard, and I gave up at the maze part. The beginning platforming part was very fun though.
Thanks for the feedback. If you're curious how to beat the game I uploaded a playthrough video on the game's itch page
It is kinda hard but I liked it!
I love the aestethic! The game is a too much floaty and makes it hard, but I like the concept. Love the moving floor.
Puh really hard. But I like how you made a 3D game ;-) I wasn't able to finish it but what I saw seemed to be good, good there were Savepoints tou
Game looks really cool. I like how the pixels look when you get up high in the air. The mechanics are fun but are thrown at you kind of fast. The music is also good and fits the game really well.
Neat game! A bit difficult, but great to see a 3D game in the jam.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed :)
