Use of the limitation
First button press - starting cook. Second button press - you get points depending on how you cooked your food. The pan goes backwards, another food is selected to cook and you have to press again to start cooking
Cookies eaten
0, since I've been eating a lot of peanuts :)

Very self intuitive gameplay, also really like the ambience provided by the background sounds. Having the game increase its speed actually was a nice added mechanic. You could even constantly change the button needed to be pressed to add even more complexity. Overall, nice work and submission!
Thank you!
This game was fun! The art was incredible and the music had me vibing the whole time I was playing. At the beginning I thought it was simple, but once the speed increased it became crazy and fun.
I think you accomplished the task of the limitation well, but I think the way to press the button could have been explored more. You may try adding some other modifiers, I'm referring to different obstacles or elements for the cooking process to make the game even crazier. In those elements you can include some other different ways to press buttons, like holding the button to grab the pan during certain moments or having to release when you want to stop. Those are just examples. Out of that, the game is still great and you did a great job!
Thank you very much! Previously in the game, the player had to HOLD the button to start cooking, and when you let go of it, another action would happen (well, when points are added and a random food is chosen). The game was also supposed to have another mode where you fill a cup with a drink, but unfortunately I didn’t have time to do that. I’ll try to add this in future updates!
The concept is fine, visuals and music are super! Limitation was employed that's cool. I didn't find the way to adjust the volume the music was low and switching to dark mode would be fine. Adding also different temperature for different food will make the concept more entertaining.
It was difficult to exit the game, add some menus.
Thank you! There are already several dishes in the game with different preparation! Regarding the customization - I just didn’t have time to do it
It took me a while to learn its mechanics. After learning so it becomes fun and the visual effect is awesome too. Great job Gandhar!
Thank you!
Great art!
Thank you!
Great art (visual and sound design)! It’s too bad that it’s impossible to lose (let me know if I’m mistaken, I tried to fail on purpose at the end). It feels like the gameplay loop isn’t complete. But it was fun to see the background animation going crazy at x11 :D
Thank you! Since I’m just increasing the Time.deltaTime, the background moving faster and faster!
A bit too simple for my liking, but I had fun playing. It’s a shame that 11x game speed is the fastest it can go (I think so, at least. I reached 18K and it hasn’t changed since 10K), because the background freaks out more the higher you go. I’m biased on the graphics as I’m practically addicted to meat, and the music fit the game well. Good job
Thank you!
Great job! The difficulty scaled well. The visuals were fantastic! Overall good game!
Thank you so much!
Very nice artwork and presentation! Really nicely polished and the audio was great for the mood of the game. It was a fun little minigame that started to actually get pretty fun after about ~50 meals and the speed ramped up!
I experienced a bit of audio crackling/clipping from the waves sound fx every so often, but no other issues. I agree with the comment below that I started to get fixated on the cooking bar and couldn't really appreciate the art after a certain point. Perhaps having the UI be more centralized would let the user focus on both?
I quit after 123 cooked meals since it didn't seem like there was a way to get game over :)
Great job!
Thanks so much for the review and for the gameplay! I will try to fix the bugs in future versions of the game. Stay tuned if you are interested!
Good game! It was easy to get away your mistakes, if you have any. I got to 7.5 speed without failing. I beat your record, but I didn't take a screenshot and I tried to take it to a higher score, but failed. I got to 11 speed with 7 overcooked and 1 not ready.
Thank you! That’s impressive :)
It's super cute and fun to play! The only thing that's a little bit sad is that the art was so cute but I couldn't look at it as it was getting cooked because I had to look at the bar thingy by the side... (a lot of the times I failed was because I was trying to look at the art lol). But it doesn't take away from the gameplay experience at all! Really cute game :)
Thanks! I’ll try to add balance to the game!
Pretty easy, but straightforward and engaging, quickly addictive. Maybe some sort of game over or win condition could be implemented as as is it just goes until you stop?
Thank you! I was planning another mode, but for obvious reasons, I didn’t have time. I plan to add them in the next version!
You also broke my record, lol
I could have easy gone for longer, but felt i had a good jist of the game for rating purposes :)
i find myself play it for 10 minutes straight just to see if i can play on 20 times speed lol... It was hard!.
Thank you! More game modes coming soon!
make it battle royal!!! i'm down for it
Alright ;)
Simple, effective. More variety in the cooking bars would help, even if it isn't very realistic. Something could be: not ready then cooked then not ready again and then cooked again and then overcooked, maybe
Thank you! Trying to do better :)
