Great take on the limitations! I completed Paper's Please years ago and enjoy the mechanics. I appreciate this game moves the mood into more lighthearted direction and not being all that serious. Fits better with the casual mechanics IMO.
Humor is nice and the green alien trying to sneak in made me laugh. Definitely one of the top games of this jam. Well done!

The graphics, the sound effects and above all the game concept are incredible. The limitation is cleverly built in. For me this is one of the best entries in this jam, I really enjoyed it ^^

As others said, good game inspired by Papers Please. I would have loved to see some mechanical innovation, but the characters and other assets look very good. Good job!

Really fun game! You nailed the satisfying feeling of picking up and moving items in Papers Please really well and all the interactions were funny and creative.
Thanks for playing! The picking up stuff was loosely inspired by Balatro. I had been playing so much that I wanted to replicate some of that stuff.

This is a great take on Papers Please. Loved all the characters, dialogues are super fun. That minion's expiration date was kind of suspicious (?) haha. Great creativity for the different species that pop up. Had a good time overall, but I realised I made a mistake and I didn't get any type of punishment. Maybe add a score for this demo just for fun? It could be based on response time + right answers.
