I absolutely loved the visuals and audio of this game. However, I thought that the jump felt a bit weird and unresponsive. I'm not sure if it happened to anyone else but I ended stopping after dying twice in a row to just walking normally in this spot.
What every has said holds true, the music is great, and only gets better as the game goes on. Transitioning from black & white to full color was a pleasant surprise, and all in all, the game is well put together.

I like the "ol' switcharoo" you pulled at the start :) music is great (lightning in sync with the music was a nice touch), I only wish the jump was a bit more responsive and immediate, this way you have to keep in mind the time it takes to go up if you don't want to hit a box and the hitboxes are a bit unforgiving. The art looks great :)

The reason was that you have to earn the music like in rythm games and that's why it continues in the win screen and not in the game over screen. Otherwise I'm glad you like it

i love the start of the game in the 1-bit then after the tutorial it goes into the colored game, there was one part in the level where i randomly died and i wasnt able to get back to that part, i kept playing just to hear more of the music though

A very good game! Great graphics, good animation! The music is very suitable for this game! I liked that there is a practice mode. I think the reset button is too close to the jump. I accidentally reloaded the level several times! You've done a very good project in such a short time! Keep it up! Good luck!

This was well done! I liked the music and the background/cats. I think there should be a way to exit practice mode without reloading the page.

I didn't find a way to get back to the menu from the practice mode, and I find it strange that on death the retry button brings back to the main menu while the quit one closes the game, especially in a game where you can fail a lot I think that retrying should be as fast as possible.

Cool music! The controls could probably be a little bit tighter. It was hard to time the jumps. But I guess I am just bad at it :) Anyway, nice game. Good job!

You really got me with that twist, overall I loved it! I think I got a bit too frustrated at points by some pixel-perfect deaths and having to start all the way from the start again, but once I beat it, it was pretty satisfying. The addition of a practice mode was nice too!
