Too hard for me ! x) Didn't make it throught the end, I struggled with the telekinesis ! From the moment I was chased by a little nightmare I coudn't manage to catch a small piece of furniture, they destroyed  themselves when I tried to shot them on the enemy !
The mechanic is cool but need to be a little more clear in my opinion ! (little question : what is the purpose of the flashlight ?)

Besides that, the art style and the ambiance are very cool :) I really liked the art direction, the main menu is super polished, there is feedbacks and particles, the character is animated ! (just the music seems a little to loud)
Very cool, gg !

The artwork is really nice! The mechanic is quite simple, although in my opinion, releasing the object to attack the enemy needs more punch, like throwing it with force to better mimic HL2 gravity gun. Keep up the good work!

I liked the game, but didnt really understand the attack. It is a fun idea for a game but ended a bit quickly. Given the 48 hours pretty good ^^

Loved the art used and I thought the telekinesis was a cool idea for the young lad.

Really neat game and amazing art! maybe give the option to the user to change some keys -- i found the controls a little confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it it became a lot of fun!

Wow, that was actually quite challenging! You really gotta manage those pieces against your foes before you break them all apart, especially against the smaller ghosts (?) (you die in one hit, I love it). Although the telekinesis doesn't really prioritize greatly, it felt smooth and satisfying once I got the hang of it. I probably would have rebinded 1 and 2 to different keys, but also adore the little sound design and art-style.

Bonus points for the little outro!

Btw, which engine did you guys use? :)

GameMaker, as far as i'm aware!

Cool! Thanks for the heads up!

Great little game. Art and sound were great, and while the telekinesis felt a little awkward, it was still pretty fun.

Love the game! The art and sound is awesome, and the use of the theme is creative. Great job!

There is no tutorial screen or section for the game, which would have been helpful. Didn't know how to control the abilities until i just pressed buttons on my keyboard until something happens. My only other thing to say is that while Little Nightmares uses 3D Assets like models, etc. it is still a side-scrolling platformer. I don't think this game changed enough about it's gameplay into the other dimension. A more interesting idea would have been to make a full 3D platformer in the style of little nightmares.

We weren't taking the idea from little nightmares... I can understand why the name could be misleading. I didn't even know that game existed when we started. We were taking the idea from the gravity gun from Half Life 2. Right click to pick items up, left click to throw, just like in half life. We wish we could have added a controls screen but we ran out of time :(. We posted all this info on our game page and it says what we took the game mechanic from and where to find the controls in the mini description.

We hope you will give our game another chance!

neat game, the menu was really clever . :)

Great concept! At first I thought I had to hold the mouse button down and drag the objects with telekinesis, but after a while I realized that the mouse toggled it. Also, I couldn't seem to get the flashlight to work. However, it was really fun to pick up and throw objects at the monsters, and I loved the eerie aesthetic! Nice job!

Very charming. The music and the art are very good. Great creative use also. Nice work 💪🏼

The art and sound were incredible, but the controls are a little bit weird, you could change de 1 and 2 for 'Q' and 'E' keys. It is a really good concept, keep the hard work.

Please rate us when you have time. Thank you very much.

That was a lovely little entry.

Just to get the bad out of the way, the telekenisis controls were a little weird when holding an item. But for a jam game, I'm not going to hold that against you.

Art and music were delightful. It had a warm, yet  chilling, atmosphere to it. I was toying with the idea to do the gravity mechnic from half life as well, but I didn't believe I could do something decent in time. So you proved me wrong there with this! Short and sweet, meaning you can focus on the mechanics more.

Excellent job!

Nice game, i love the atmosphere and the loading screen :)

This is a great pixel art game! It's fun to play. The way you present the options is very clever.

One thing that can make it better. You might add so force on the object when release. It feels a bit wired to hurt the monster now.

It a well done game , but i think u can do a lot more fun thing with this mechanic , u should polish this and release it as a full game

Took a while before I 'got' how the telekinesis worked. Maybe add some free boxes to the menu to play around with before the stakes are rising?

An awesome submission, art sound and gameplay-wise :)

Reminded me of  the gravity gun from half life. Definitely one of the best games on this jam. Great job, you deserve it.
