How does your game fit/incorporate the theme of the game jam?
Using the idea of time travel, the game explores past streams in Neuro-sama history, the items those streams left behind, and plays with the idea of how the future might be different for Neuro, Evil, Vedal, and their friends if those streams had turned out differently

This is a tough game so I think it deserves an extra hint screen. The original hints being - https://theashywolf.itch.io/evil-in-time/devlog/861730/hints-for-finding-all-of-... This shouldn't be too spoilery so you still have to figure out most of what to do but if the original wasn't enough here's something even more.

We're working on a new content update that will hopefully make it a little easier to find all the endings!
I still cannot find the way to erase previous info about me finishing the endings.
We'll figure out that later
for now, to reset the progression - remove "GlobalSave.nson" remove files within "%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Team Connect 4\NeuroNovel\NaninovelData\Saves"
Maybe I'm stupid but I sill can't figure it out. I can't find the saves
SECOND PLACE, LET'S GOOOOOOO
Thank you so much! We're all going crazy in our dev discord right now!!!
I made an account just to say this game is sick as hell in every aspect (especially music and story) after spending several hours getting all 5 endings. My only complaint was trying to keep track of what options I already tried in my head was kind of annoying.
Amazing game, very well done. I got 3/5 of the endings, and I have a hunch about how to get the rest but haven't gotten there yet lol
The writing is great and the story makes for a fantastic, very replayable puzzle. Kudos!
HOW THIS WAS MADE IN 3 DAYS???????
Genuinely insane game, Incredible artwork, very interesting story, amazing writing, multiple endings, and I really liked having to make choices that makes sense and are not suspicious, I genuinely forgot that I was playing a game for game jam! Absolute cinema.
Great game, incredible game actually. Total game: 8/10. If I COULD rate then I would rate it 10/10.
Best one here, no doubt. But it's such a DIFFICULT puzzle game to find the best ending and while I'm almost CERTAIN that I got it before actually getting it and I AM sure that I was | | THIS CLOSE to finding it without hints I just could not. But I was able to get the OTHER endings without help so cheers to me. Music remixes were INCREDIBLE, Art was the BEST I'VE SEEN. Characterization was BEAUTIFUL and small things like âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ âī¸âī¸đĩâī¸â ī¸âī¸ âŦ§ī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ â§Ģī¸âī¸âī¸â§Ģī¸ âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ âŦ§ī¸â§Ģī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ âī¸â§ī¸âī¸âŦ§ī¸â§Ģī¸âī¸âī¸ âŦ§ī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ âī¸âī¸âī¸âĄī¸âī¸âī¸ âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸â§Ģī¸âī¸â ī¸âī¸ â§Ģī¸âī¸âī¸ âī¸âī¸â§Ģī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ went a LONG way, believe me. Thanks for your kind words! Glad you finally found the last ending! Sorry it was so hard, haha. That one ending probably is a bit too hard to find; I might reduce the number of things you need to get it, after the jam ends.
You did a great job in... well, everything but there is ONE thing that I hope does get added, a data erase button, I'd love to record a video of a speedrun of 5/5 endings in the game with the number visibly going up with each ending.
Oh, that's easy enough to do right now! It's not part of the game, but if you go to the folder:
All you need to do is rename the file called GlobalSave.nson to something else (or just delete it if you want). Then it won't remember which endings you've seen.
Insanely good for a jam entry, full of content in every aspect. Very much enjoyed this game, great work!
There is one more glitch that MIGHT(?) actually affect an ending. By using the 300$ limit, it does LET you into the jewelry store but choosing to buy something over the limit causes the game to say goto. Jewelry and then charge Vedal's card 10$.
Ah, you're right, that is a bug! It doesn't affect your ability to get any of the endings though. It's *supposed* to just let you choose from the jewelry list again in that case.
Awesome concept and the art is great but god damn is it hard to find any endings beside the Game Over one
This last ending evades me expertly. So I shall list vague hints for the endings I found and look more later. I will also be turning them into windings so no one is spoiled unnecessarily. (I would also not mind hints for the ending that I'm missing.)

Hahaha this method of spoiler tagging is hilarious! I'm surprised, actually, because I would have guessed that "Ending 3" was the harder one to find. For the ending your missing... it sounds like you need to teach Neuro that there are limits to what she can get away with.
This is my favorite game in the game jam, absolute favorite no doubt, but I can not find this last ending for the life of me. Can I get one more hint? How in hell do I teach that to Neuro? The other endings had subtle clues for each, like the conquest meter, or dialogue saying when Neuro escaped. Is there anything that shows how far I've gotten?
There is a way to track it, yes.
As you discovered, Neuro's escape date tracks progress to one ending (the "Paranoia" ending). Conquest tracks the the sum of the progress to two endings: the Paranoid ending, and the ending you're missing. So, progress = conquest MINUS escape date.
Another way to think of it is like this: how low can you get the conquest bar WITHOUT changing when Neuro escapes?
I checked it just now. If Neuro's escape date is unchanged ("early 2026"), the conquest meter will be <= 48% to get this ending.
âī¸âī¸ âī¸âī¸âī¸â ī¸đī¸ âī¸âī¸đī¸đĒī¸ âī¸đ¯ī¸đŖī¸ đ°ī¸đī¸đī¸ đī¸âī¸â ī¸ đī¸âšī¸âī¸đī¸ đī¸đąī¸ âšī¸âī¸âĄī¸â ī¸âī¸đ¯ī¸đ§ī¸ âī¸âī¸âī¸â ī¸ âī¸âī¸ đī¸âī¸ âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸
Maybe I don't understand, but I think doing that will push you towards a different ending (the escape date will change).
True but I THINK I can reverse the date to undo that damage.
Edit: Checking again, I think there's a better way. (In this case, that would be the only way but side note I find it that âŦĨī¸âī¸â ī¸â§Ģī¸âī¸â ī¸âī¸ âī¸ âī¸âī¸â ī¸âĄī¸âŦ§ī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ causes as much paranoia as âī¸âī¸âĄī¸âŦĨī¸âī¸â ī¸âī¸ âī¸âģī¸ âī¸â ī¸ âĄī¸âī¸âī¸â ī¸.
I think you'll want âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸âī¸ âī¸âĄī¸âĄī¸đĩâī¸âī¸âŦ§ī¸ for this ending.
Edit: Yes, that's fair, it's a little odd! We just did that to keep it simple, every action that affects something adds the same amount.

no idea what the last one could be, tried alot of stuff, raising conquest meter to 100 - highest ive gotten is 88%
considering writing choice tree and deducting from there but might be bugged, as those 4 endings were rather logical
They're definitely all possible, I've tested them all!
Try getting the conquest meter to go down *without* changing the date that Neuro escapes. To do this, you need to teach Neuro to behave a bit better.
thanks I got it, what a nice ending, a shame if you're missing out on that one
Thank you very much for the game, I enjoyed it alot
Wow, that's a really good entry. Art in this game is excellent. I like how future designs look so badass. Very polished game. Good work!
I'm still working on that last ending but there is ONE thing I think is a glitch. All three options when you call Anny result in the same initial dialogue.
Yep, that's definitely a bug too. Good find! The later dialog still works, but she always responds initially as if you picked the third choice. Oops!
This game is super polished, super stylish and just perfect. Story is amazing and has a lot of very cool references. It also fits the theme perfectly. I will be surprised if any other game wins this jam. Just amazing!!
What an incredible VN!!! The art, the story, the flow of the decisions, is just great! Very great work for the team! I only found 3/5 endings if you or someone else can post a walkthrough or hints on how to get all endings will be fantastic!!! This is the current game I have spent the most time playing!
Fantastic Job!!!
P.S.- Did you use NaniNovel or other package to help you?? Because I'm very curious if it's worth it, because I have only work on Renpy to make VN, but I'm more comfortable working on Unity, so I have that dilemma :3
I'm glad you liked it! Indeed some of the endings are quite hard to find! I don't want to give too much away, but now that it's been a few days, I'll give a few little hints. Also, yes, we used NaniNovel!
I think that's plenty for now!
Yes, we used NaniNovel. But it's not a perfect solution If you have collaboration in mind, I recommend you to find another way to do.
I CAN'T FIND THE THE LAST TWO ENDINGS RELATED TO CONQUEST!
Edit: Found one but now I can't fund the bad ending
I posted some hints for finding all the endings on the main page, if you don't mind a little spoiling!
Incredibly well polished game, with beautiful art! I think the 20 minute runtime estimation is a little under though - I've been playing for an hour now, and I could still only find 3 endings.
Yeah, we really had no idea how long it would take! We sort of thought most people would only play until they got only one or two endings! Some of them are quite hard to find.
This game's visuals are so good, the UI alone makes it very pleasant to look at, not to mention the great character art!
The story is also very creative and engaging, I got the "Anny ending", it was so wholesome, I teared up knowing Evil was happy on her birthday :copium:
Really amazing novel game, even if I had a skill issue in actually doing the right things to fight against the AI Dominion.
I love the different LIFE remixes!
