Very cool twist when we understand the real necessity of the character's actions. Dwarves digging too deep is nothing new, but it's always good to get a well done look at the consequences.

Very creative and well told.

I love the little touches that ground this story if dwarven "culture" so to speak. Little diction choices like "rock-brained" and "runes" really ground this story in a dwarven perspective. I also love the way that you described the tech in this story. It felt very grounded while also being sci-fi.

This was an engaging story well told.  Some details, however, could have been better explored and the theme made clearer.

Great story and your paragraphical layout is very easy on the eyes. I had to strain a little to see the consequences theme but it was in there. Maybe you could have emphasized it a little more but the story was very well told.

The description of the biohazard as "pale blue streaks and puddles" and the whole situation on board the Verdant Anvil gave me major Expanse vibes. This was a fun one, and a rare Infected Colonies story is always a treat!

Great story. Love to jump right into the action at the start

Flows well, even seeing where it's going, it's still a fun ride to the end

I really enjoyed the confusion of the story. You really balanced the mystery of the situation while still keeping the story clear.
