Description
Genres (or lack thereof):

This project covers a few different vibes but i don't think any of them are a genre themselves lol
Most of the songs are acoustic/ambient/chill but there's an electronic one there (because of course there is).

The concept:

The game is passed in a Steampunk-ish world and you play as a girl who invented a device capable of traveling through spacetime. But in the first test, something breaks and causes the timeline to get messed up. Now she has to go back and forth in different places and eras to fix time paradoxes and such (exciting stuff i know).

What each track represents:

The Warp: this would play in a cutscene showing the premise of the creation/malfunction of the time traveling device

The Place Outside of Time: i imagine this would play in some sort of hub world the connects all the gateways to different eras. Also it'd adapt to what part of the game you're in (for example, the part with the breakbeat would play if you completed the futuristic level).

Barrenbluff: this would play in the first level of the game, where you're fixing some small stuff that the device broke in this small old western town (this is mostly just a tutorial level tbh)

Shizukana's Summit: same story, fixing stuff in an even older little village buried in the mountains

Neo Arcadia: oh hey it's the futuristic level i mentioned earlier
(because of course it is)

Time's up!: game over/death screen

Other details:

DAW used: FL studio 20 for everything (using a lot of xpand!2)

Cover art by: yours truly ;)

sorry if this description is unintelligible i had to stay up all night to finish mixing and exporting and putting it on soundcloud and-

and that's all i had time for

Theme:

Tick Tock...

How does it fit the theme?
game concept revolves around time traveling and incorporates ticking (and tocking) in the aesthetic both visually (through the steampunk vibe) and musically (through the arguably excessive actual clock ticks in the soundtrack)

Nice OST, my fav is Neo Arcadia ^_^
Good job.

That's very miscelleneous kinds of music! Very interesting! Great work!

Wow, this sounds like part of the soundtrack of an indie game that i want to play. The production is fantastic and professional, the tracks are diverse and vary in vibe and feeling. The melodies are very nice and catchy, and the accompaniment both supports the melody yet stands very well on it's own.

I like how each level theme tells so much about the place : "Barrenbluff" sounds like the music that might be played in an inn in the town, "Shizukana's Summit" sounds like an ancient piece passed down from generation to generation about a legend of great importance, and "Neo Arcadia" depicts a picture of a dystopian future filled with incredibly advanced technology but no living beings... Or at least that's what i imagined.

Overall, this is absolutely fantastic, and i enjoyed it very much.

A diverse range of music tracks here! You have a lovely atmospheric and intrigue-creating style. "Shizukana's Summit" was my fave - beautiful, calm, and mystic. The build-up in Neo Arcadia was also really cool - that beat drop, woo!

I really like the cover art and concept, feels immediately video gamey and sets the theme right away. The tracks also do ambient and upbeat really well, especially the time period ones like barrenbluff and neo arcadia. Great work!

Yeah, this was a really cool listen. There's some good variety without feeling all over the place, and you can tell that there's an underlining theme wrapping it all up. Nice presentation, too!

Barrenbluff was lovely and Neo Arcadia has a Celeste vibe!

This is so cool! Had a lot of fun listening to this, the variety of tracks really makes it into a full thingy and the instruments choice gives it a great coherence throughout the soundtrack. In particular, I love the use of the guitar throughout the OST and especially in "Barrenbluff". Neo-Arcadia sounds absolutely sick and a bit like a remix of a Celeste track. Amazing job overall!

A mixed bag as You say, but the overall impression is really nice and I still feel that most tracks are connected. "The Warp" stands out to me, lovely soundscape and composition, and giving me a desire to see what this is all about. Also "The Place Outside ..." and "Time Warp" have a really cozy and nice athmospheric air to them that bridges between the various tracks (the clock in the former may be a bit overplayed though IMHO, could have been more subtle). "Barrenbluff" gives a nice variation to the soundtrack.

All in all, I could really see myself doing a game inspired by this OST :)

All the songs are so unique, one of my favorites is Neo Arcadia, gives me Celeste vibes. Overall this is a unique and creative take on the theme!

As you said, there is no genre that fits the whole OST, but I think it would work really well in different instances of the game you described. Great job!! <3

I very like that each composition has it's own character and ambiance, but in the same time I really can imagine all of these tracks in one game!

the concept for this game is really cool! the soundtrack is very mysterious and lost sounding.
