CuH!
BUMPUS
thx dOOd!
Okay wtf, this is so impressive to me! I have a really dumb brain that can't comprehend trackers and this is taking that to the EXTREME
The composition and sound choices are great, this was a fun submission not only to listen to but to watch as well! Great work!
It's just a tool :) Glad you had fun with my little tune!
Great fun and unique track! It's the first time I hear about http://strudel.cc, looks like a very interesting way of creating music. Amazing work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was awesome haha, I hadn't heard of Strudel.cc or Tidal before, but I'll need to check them out now. I'm a software engineer who is into trackers and the like, as well as algorithmic music, so I'm really glad you uploaded a video with your submission, so we could watch it all in action.
Super fun submission, may your cosmic camel find bliss 🐪 🐫
Thank you very much, and greetings fellow tracker! I'm sure it will be very easy for you to dip your toes in Strudel!
This soundtrack is such a technological and monumental masterpiece of humanity that my three singular brain cells are running in circles, screaming whilst bursting into eternal and holy flames.
Great composition, use of instruments, and overall vibe of the song! High ratings all around, and you should feel incredibly satisfied with your submission. Lovely job!
That goose saw things you people wouldn't believe!
Glad you liked it, thank you!
THIS IS SUCH A FUN TRACK .... AHHH
i was not expecting cosmic camels to be a part of this jam, but i'm not complaining! i literally am so technologically stupid i can't even begin to comprehend how you've achieved this through coding, but honestly, props to you! this is probably pretty difficult!
my only thing is balance between instruments, because it feels like your melody is overshadowed sometimes. i can imagine it's hard to accomplish through code, and honestly you accomplishing this much in and of itself is a feat, dude. like, you CODED a song into existence. JEEZ!!!!
My coding part is only the tip of the iceberg! Everything else is handled by the Strudel internal engine. It's like making a game with Godot instead of coding everything from scratch.
You're right, I did't have much time and courage to polish it further. I entered this jam (late) to have fun, to entertain and intrigue, without falling into perfectionism or performance anxiety.
Thank you for your support!
This is SO COOL!! You had the most unusual approach I've seen at the jam. You also achieved a VERY musical result.
Great work!!!
Many thanks Layla!
I want a rocket camel so badly now…
I didn't even know that was possible! Thats crazy! 5/5 for creativity alone <3
Many thanks Mickie!
coding something like this is crazy
great track though, sounds epic
Sounds right, then!
Thank you
COSMIC CAMELS!? (Bro, you're an absolute mad lad for coding music haha!)
Dunno, that's what the music told me to do!
Ridiculous... How can you do something so good by coding it lol. You're insane, and I love you for that fact alone. On top of that the song is matching the picture 2000% aahah. Such a nice job wow!
We really live in the weirdest timeline, ain't it? Thanks!
This is such a creative way to make a track. I'm a programmer too and its still astonishing to me! Nailed a space vibe. Loving the chord options especially the arpeggios using the b6 degree over the major tonic chord. Great work!
Much appreciated! That b6 is the most camelish thing in the piece. I was unsure about it at first!
Wow I really enjoyed! This is really fun soundtrack, solid composition, for me fits well in a space game, and impressive the fact that you made it with code.
Great job!
Thank you!
OMG CAMEL
This was a very beautiful composition with the space vibe and... YOU DID IT WITH CODE? You're insane. A madman with good skills and persistence..... Cool!
P.S. You're right. There was at least one space camel in my world of all things..... THEY are everywhere...
HELP MEYou are very kind, I'm glad you liked it!
That introduction is really catchy! The sound you used are nice but you could have tested to play less with long notes and more rythmic short notes a certain moments!
Thank you! It's a valid suggestion. After lot of listenings, you are so 'familiarized' to how your own song sounds that some changes alter it in ways that get you lost or uneasy. Once the 'nice' level is reached, the fear of doing damage kicks in...
that's true!
Pretty interesting listen. Liked the different synths used. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Really cool how you used one track to convey multiple songs! Kinda like movements in classical music. Clean transitions between them too.
Also, as the other guy said, CODING the music is, for lack of a better word, bonkers.
Thank you! I AM obviously bonkers!
you literally CODED the music I can't even wrap my head around how you did things like alter how long each note was and have them play in the proper order that is so cool!
very impressive.
Thank you fella!
HUH EXCUSE ME? You literally coded music, and it sounds super chill. Absolutely the most creative DAW I've ever seen :D
Thank you! I'm just doing what video game composers did in the 8-bit era of console and home computers, but easier!
