How does it fit the theme?
Took inspiration from the 3D Worlds in Mario Artist: Paint Studio. The nonexistent game this OST is for would be based around creating custom fish a la Graffiti Kingdom and then swim around in editable aquascapes with them. Chose to make it a GameCube title since Hip-Hop/Electronic inspired soundtracks were pretty popular around that era & those were my main inspirations for most of the project.

This was pretty funky, especially make a fish!

That bass got me making the stank face fr.

It's Evil Mario 😱😱😱

The bass is the main highlight of the soundtrack, especially the first 2 songs, I don't know whether if its an intended pun or not since uhhhhh the bass is also a fish but said differently. Banger bass, it's such a treat to listen to like a seafood platter on a good evening.

The inspirations you take from the game is very unique, I like the fact that your game is basically one big character customizer but it's fish. the art cover is also pretty cool, it looks like a fish and a paintbrush at the same time

Bangers all around!! Also, the bass tone is immaculate!!

Heh heh... It's time to swim!

Make A Wish is the bass player of the moment.
Load Or Save A Fish - Cute, Aquatic, Fish, Synthesizer, Funk... stop... A synthesizer?! FUNK?! I love this soundtrack!

Ready To Die? - yes. I'M READY! WHERE TO GO? (cute, good track for level selection)

This is such a cool style to take inspiration from!

It reminded me of when my siblings and I would play SSX Tricky on the Gamecube so I think you nailed the tone!

🐟/10, amazing. it all just slaps and i don't have anything else to say that wouldn't just be repeating myself. issa vibe haher

Make a Fish - That awesome bassline makes this my favorite track. I think the drums could be louder and snappier. The vocal you used towards the end adds so much, and dropping out the bass there was a powerful move.

Load or Save Fish - This seems like a remix/reinterpretation of Make a Fish. The difference in sound design is interesting, I just wish there were new and distinct elements that set it apart from Make a Fish.

Ready to Dive? - The instrument sound you chose is very relaxing and reminds me of a kalimba in some ways. Combined with the arpeggios in the composition, it makes for a great file select track.

This was a fun soundtrack overall - good work!

A really good, fresh take on the theme and using the GC box art fits the songs so well. great job!

These are bops! I can picture taking a created fish and having them do tricks around the aquarium like a skate game.

I would love to play this game. Really cool to focus on character creation/menu music for laidback bops.

love that bubble sound used in the first one as a rhythm element, cool to see :)

Love the game concept and your commitment to gamecube era aesthetics. Your submission stands out from a lot of others because of its unique aesthetic. Triggered my Jet Set Radio nostalgia lol. Really enjoyed :D
