Description
(Made with GarageBand)

I imagine the environments and challenges of the game varying based on the mental state of the "antagonist," someone who probably isn't a villain. Just... Unstable. Is it a boss fight or is it an introspective moment with your best friend? God only knows. Think Sayonara Wild Hearts.

Crash Forecast: A depressive episode tinged with anxiety. Not a very scary level. Maybe it's just a conversation, grieving or reminiscing or commiserating. But there's something bubbling under the surface.

Mood Swing: The switch between genres, literally a mood swing. The energy levels rise. Your friend is no longer passive, and the world is becoming dangerous around them without them intending it.

Expect Euphoria: A manic or hyperactive episode. This person is impulsive, aggressive, and destructive. If you want a boss fight, you'll get it.

Thank you all for having me! I don't have any fancy equipment or training, so I did my best with what's on hand. Beware whatever volume weirdness may occur!

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
I saw the prompt "Inside My World" and immediately though of mental disorder, so this soundtrack is based on extreme emotional dysregulation.

So... that combination of chiptune, dynamic electronics and piano in your soundtrack is beautiful!

The crying in Mood Swing made me empathize with the girl.....

I loved it! Thank you)

Really dig the soundscape and the way you interpreted the theme. (Cover art's sick too) My critiques would be

- to use compression on dynamic parts, like the saw synth lead from 0:03-0:30 of "Expect Euphoria" as certain notes are audibly louder.

- balancing the audio throughout an entire track, In "Mood Swing" (which I think is a cool song also, some cool perc sounds in there), the drums that come in at 0:48 were quieter than the first piano part so the drop didn't feel as impactful as it could be.

I liked the crying sounds that could be heard in mood swings

Smiling the whole time listening to this, well done!

Interesting interpritation of theme) Nice voices on a background, great pads and harmonies. Good job)

Nice job! I especially liked the amazing beat in "Crash Forecast"

I really like how you chose to approach this theme, and were very purposeful with a lot of your musical choices to reflect the story you put with this! I think in mood swings you could stand to turn some of the sound effects down a bit, but I understand you gave a volume warning so at the end of the day this is just a nitpick. Nice job!

Great Job! I love the style you went for. My favorite track was mood swings.

i didn't know you can make stuff like this in garageband :0 !! I'm really curious what you could achieve if you keep it up.

Good work!

Pretty good thematic glue, with basically no equipement or training, it's actually amazing to me how much you achieved here! Great job!

Consistent, Crash Forecast was calm, while the two others were more energetic. I noticed some solid work on the low freqs. Your interpretation of the theme was interesting, and your OST reflected that. Nice going!

Solid work!

It has a nice ambient feel. I had a good feeling looking at the cover art.

I like how the tones you're conveying are understated, but in the right kind of way. You're not beating someone over the head - you'd play this game, the music would play, and the context would play out, and you'd not necessarily notice the music consciously; the music would do its job to immerse you in the story very well.

You should totally develop a game with these themes.

Well done.
