Description
Genre: Dark synthwave, breakcore, metal
Had a lot of fun making this in 48 hours for this composing jam! The idea I came up with for the cyberpunk theme is Cyber Psycho. I felt pretty inspired with the whole cyber psycho idea from the edgerunners anime so I wanted to make a song kind of capturing that chaotic and manic state in a song. The main thing I wanted this track to sound like was super glitchy and heavy. I took a bit of inspiration from the recent chainsaw man anime soundtrack which uses a lot of breakbeats, glitchy effects and distorted guitars. What I ended up creating is a dynamic battle theme for playing as a cyber psycho.
NOTE: all samples and sfx used are taken from various splice packs such as the drums and other sfx.

Great mix of styles on display, here! Mix sounds good, the guitars are working well, and the different drum styles really help to accentuate the difference between the sections!

Are you Mick Gordon's nephew/niece or something? That was aweseomeeee. I really enjoyed the entire song, but the section starting from 1:45 gotta be my favorite, sounds so Sick, what a maniac banger, makes me want to shake my head while doing something crazy and illegal (very illegal xD )

Breakcore + distorted guitars! And that sudden switch up into the synth solo, awesome, and then it goes back into a bangin metal drum + guitar riff. What a journey!
This was a fun entry! While I did enjoy headbanging to the first part, I think where this track really stands out is during the synth solo. Very nice combination of genres, well done!

I really like this metal sound, almost like the DOOM soundtrack with some crazy cool breakbeats, also I really like the change of style around the 1:00 minute mark. Also such a cool idea to go with Cyber Psycho, works really really well and you absolutely nailed it. Absolutely love this!
First metal take on cyberpunk I've seen so far! Love the guitars and breakbeats, and I can definitely hear the Chainsaw Man OST influence. Those effects that come in around 1:55 are an amazing touch. Very high energy and I could see this fitting easily as a cyberpunk battle theme.
Great percussion on this one, it's so intense! Also liking the electric guitars here!

Glad ya like the guitars! I record on an ibanez prestige and i use bias fx 2 for my guitar tones. I also use a squier jazz bass and use guitar rig pro 6 for the bass tones
