imo the timing could be a lot tighter, but this is one of my favourites here.  ocean, museum and the outro were beautiful

the theme is so consistent the i was thinking it was only one song, very cute, congrats ^^

The solo piano idea is stunning in its simplicity. It works really well and I also felt that each track would've been longer. Good job!

Amazing and fun sounds! I love the piano. I'm a pianist and this soundtrack is heartwarming ♥ Good job!

I really like how the "toddler on a piano - no idea what I'm doing here" intro set us on the wrong foot and flow into a very nice and playful journey. the only bad thing I can find is they are all at least 24h to short. would love to hear much longer songs as they all gave the impression there is a lot more waiting around the corner.

An OST entirely on the piano? Surprisingly, it works very well. The richness of this king instrument makes it possible to approach so many different styles and registers without ever causing weariness. And this is all the more true if the writing for the piano is well done, with a pleasant playing, the use of the sustain pedal and various nuances. Here, each melody is clear, and contributes to the listener's escape. The improvisational colors make the whole thing easy to listen to, pleasant, without ever being able to anticipate what will happen. The introductory theme being the only one to seem strange by its somewhat disjointed appearance, but which may very well be suitable for displaying a logo or other graphic syncho effect with these unstructured notes. The rest is pure meditative bliss. Well done !

Classical pianist here and all I can think to say first is YAY! I am so impressed that you’ve made a lovely track for a game using only your piano.  I’d be skittish to try it but you really pulled it off.  Bravo! (And darling cover art, too. Did you also do that?)

Your solo piano sounds really good. I think that making a good OST with only 1 instrument is even harder than with full orchestra but you made it really amazing

Big fan of the solo piano jrpg vibe, especially in the outro!

Very nice piano playing. I loved the village theme.

Developer

thank you very much! the village theme was the first one i came up with, and the rest of them are all loosely connected to that main melody.

This intro, with its unexpected hold pedal release, was a very surprising way to begin this journey. I was first unsettled, but then the second tracks kicks in and everything starts to make sense. I loved the intimate feel, it’s like having the piano player in the same room as you, improvising some infinite soundtrack. ocean is my personal favorite :)

Developer

thank you! someone remarked that intro sounds like a bird fluttering around and then taking off, which was the kind of vibes i was going for. i actually did in fact improvise nearly all of this; i took the takes that i liked best! thank you for your kind words and feedback 🥰

Might sound like an odd combination, but this sounded me like Spirited away and Untitled goose game soundtracks had a child lmao. Very minimalistic yet rich armonic soundtrack

Developer

that's actually a pretty accurate combination, come to think of it! thank you for your kind words 🥰

I do love solo piano soundtracks, this was a lovely listen. I liked the intricacies in the harmony and the dynamics that never felt that they were too much.

I also really like the way the melodies were constructed, they lingered in my mind a long time after listening.

Developer

i'm very glad the melodies had staying power! i frequently feel like my melodies lack weight while i'm actively composing, so hearing this feedback is encouraging :) thank you!

These tracks were all so nice and relaxing, they would definitely fit well with a cozy game. I really loved how you used dynamics and pacing to control intensity, and also the very creative chord progressions! These both made your music really interesting to listen to without having super complex instrumentation.

Such a lovely soundtrack! I was particularly affected by ocean's melodic arcs, and museum's fun but relaxing harmonies. I got a strong visual novel vibe from this.

Sitting in front of the quirky rhythmic and harmonic backing is those melodies. Carrying your way through the album as a journey should. Ocean was something a bit more traditional of a piece and then Museum just bloody blew me away. Stunning piece of work great job <3

Edit: I just once again want to reiterate how much I love these harmonies.
