  • Loved it, I could easily see that fleshed out into a deeper puzzle game. Loved the combining/shadow elements, quite clever look at the alchemical side of the theme. As you noted, art was simple but effectively communicated your intent. I would note, as the objects get further out, the perspective shift and shadow became very "out of line". For people unfamiliar with 3D spaces making that less dramatic would probably help for translation into larger and more complex puzzles. Again, well done.

Interesting game! I like the concept of how you cast shadows by moving actual 3d objects in order to help you complete the level in the 2d platformer that the shadows are casted to!

Super fun physics and puzzles! And a very cool concept. The music is very catchy too, can't help but bob my head to it :D Lovely game

Super fun! Love the music selection. I did something similar (puzzle platformer with shadows).

Thank you and awesome game man ! Left a little feedback for you there.

I loved this! I was disappointed when the credits came up, only because I wanted more! I'd love to see a full release of this one. The only complaint I have is reset and transform being too close to each other. Accidentally resetting a level is frustrating. Allowing key rebinds or something would be amazing.

Great job with this! It was too much fun.

Interesting concept for a puzzle platformer! The mechanic for combining shadows is such a cool idea too!

A bit suggestion of mine is to add a bit of friction to the objects, as they feel too slippery when moved. Also probably make the jump height higher such that the player can clear the objects? Not too sure about this one but I guess the objects can be better utilised.

Anyway, keep on the good work!

Fun concept! I don't think I'm using the shadows as intended. I find I'm able to complete levels by quickly releasing an object just as it's under a the player, then jump, then grab the object and release it under the player again to go higher or go to the right, etc.

Good idea, playing with shadows. I found it a bit fiddly to control though.

These are interesting mechanics! I will say that sometimes the levels were a bit annoying when the moving spike would hit you in your starting location. It was a bit hard to get the first shape down immediately. Sometimes the ball would bounce off the screen. The low contrast was a bit hard to see at times.

Otherwise super creative and fun! I played all the way to the end and enjoyed it.

Developer

Thank you ! Glad you enjoyed it. Sorry for the inconveniences, I didn't have enough time to fix a lot of it.

Love the mechanics of this game. The transforming was a cool addition that adds a bit of variety to the puzzles, and I thought worked pretty well in the levels. As others have mentioned, the ball bounce strength is a bit inconsistent and high, allowing you to either skip or fly in completely different directions.

Sound fits the game nicely as well as the art style, which is all consistent through out and matches the general style of the game.

Awesome!

Interesting game mechanic. I enjoyed the novelty of it, the art is nice and simple to get the point across and of course there is some juicy sound effects for that dopamine.

However there is clunk in the controls and overall gameplay feel was not there. For example, the bounce strength from the ball being high, the slow heavy movement with short jump of the player, the lack of fine control over your character to position yourself correctly, all introduced a lot of friction to me as a player.

Also, the levels are simple enough to complete with just the ball and triangles alone, I don't really see the point in being able to combine any of these.

Also there's a bug where if you touch the wall you get stuck :(

Developer

Thank you for the feedback ! Glad you liked the mechanic. I really should've put aside more time for playtesting to resolve the issues and make more interesting levels :'). Thank you for pointing out them out though. I now know more about what to pay more attention to in the future. Also sorry for the stuck in wall bug.

Love the game !! Would be great to speedrun hehe

Liked the concept a lot, only complaint would be that the ball/circle felt a bit overpowered as you could basically fly across an entire level with it, but other than that the level design was also really good!

This concept is so cool
