Super great game! I think it was really creative that you staggered out the beat like that instead of doing a straight beat like a lot of other rhythm games. And I really dig the music! You're right, it is kind of funny that we both use the same off-kilter beat in our hardest song! Wanted to add more complexity to the game beyond just spamming more notes, eh?

Personally, I'm not a fan of the controls. I guess it makes sense to make the game one-handed, but I could never manage to remember which button jumps and which one switches sides. And it felt like I had to be airborne before I even crossed the white boxes, which meant I had to press a fraction of a second ahead of the beat, which felt awkward.

Yeah, the jumping timing is a great point, in our current personal the jumping is a big focus, hopefully we get that right going forward!

Even with just two basic mechanics the game seems to have a lot of variety for the gameplay.

I like how the players slowly moves down the screen with a miss, it works so much better then an instant fail or scoring system as it adds a lot of tension.

The game is fun to play and the controls are creative but I often struggled with the timing for the white bars.

Super clean on visuals, sound design and gameplay. Nailed everything to make a rhythm game with your own unique take. I'm jealous of how good this is!

I do find it a bit too punishing when missing the same obstacle over and over again. It may benefit from a temporary immune to fallback damage state after missing an obstacle so the player can try and get back on there feet.

Congrats on a great game jam entry! Easily going to be one of the top

the white blocks are the bane of my existence. Anyways, fun game.

Such a cool idea, although, despite the changing rhythms being really cool in terms of audio experience, they were really difficult to adapt to, making the experience really really hard. Though still, I really really like it and had fun with it :)

Great entry! I love the music and the visuals. Very polished, the beat is clear, easy to hear and see. I especially love the changing patterns. The only caveat would be that the changing patterns are quite sneaky and it's hard to see when they change.

I love it; might be my favourite so far.

Good game, well polished. But I don’t know why I’m so bad… I really can’t stay in the race :P

I loved the game but the beat gets inconsistent at times or just feels off which makes the jumps at least extremely difficult to time.

Great game! I like the concept for the game and the songs were great. My only gripe is that the rhythm seems a bit inconsistent at times, but the last level was fast enough so that wasn't much of an issue.

Loved the controls and was very fun, later levels were tricky but my right mouse button is a bit broken. Simple concept, implemented well good job!
