  • Reminds me of a really finely done puzzle/escape flash and web game, which was all the rage a few years ago. This is very meticulously designed and has excellent art to support its eerie, gothic ballerina theme. Great work!

Really gorgeous art work, and an absorbingly creepy gothic aesthetic! I love that a pretty clear story is communicated almost entirely wordlessly. There are a few aspects of the gameplay that could use some polish, though. I would recommend combining the use of 'E', 'TAB', and 'Space' all into one button since they do similar things, just in different contexts. I found myself often pressing the wrong one that was needed for the situation. I also think the solutions to the a few of the puzzles are a little obtuse, and I occasionally solved them just by brute force trying an item on everything in a room (this was certainly true for the Goblet). I would recommend adding a little more player guidance to try to hint towards what the next actions to progress the story are.  But overall, this was still a lovely experience that I truly enjoyed. Great work!

Incredible aesthetics! Loved the art style! Well done :)

This game was such an experience! Really like the concept and the aestethic. Feedbakcs: Make the puzzles/solutions less obscure so that it's easier to grasp the solution. Also there could be some more interactive stuff in order to make it less static but overall this is a well polished jam game. Well done!

I agree with some comments here on the controls and some solutions that were really obscure (like the ink and the shoes), also I really thought I was gonna smash those ballerinas with the pendulum and was relieve to find out it was not the case ^^'

The backstory and overall ambiance are nice even if I think those jumpscares could use a bit of build up. The artsyle is really great and I like puzzle games like this one, go GGs!

Fun game! I like the art. I think the controls for selecting /using objects could be refined a bit as it was a bit confusing.  Other than that I had fun time playing!

A very cool game. I loved the art style and the puzzle elements were pretty good. Great game overall.

Really interesting unique game, enjoyed!)

Really nice game. Though the game was short, you really nailed it in terms of theme design, sounds and aesthetics.

Well made game and great visuals but the interaction with objects was somewhat finnicky at times.

The puzzles are good! (Though most of them I solved by accident)

This is a good game with a good horror story, But I solved the puzzles mostly by accident lol. Love the style! It's very unique!

While the controls were kinda weird, and some of the puzzles' solutions were obscure (turn on the lantern several times, break the glass with pendulum, get black ink from wet newspaper, pour black ink on shoes), I loved the game's backstory, aesthetics, and the graphics. It's a solid entry for a game jam, and I'm surprised it didn't get a lot of attention.

Really beautiful artwork, and fun puzzle! The use of color to convey different atmospheres was really effective in giving me a spook

We're glad that you enjoyed our work!

It was really cool! I really like the aesthetics similar to the aesthetics of Tim Burton. interesting gameplay, cool sound!
It would be cool if the game got bigger, I would like to replay it again! The only wish is that sometimes the logical link in the puzzles was incomprehensible, I would like it to be more logical and polished! Very good job)

Developer

Thank you ! this means a ton, we'll try to make things smoother later on when we have the time to do so !

Reminds me a little of old PC adventure games with the large character sprites. Nice art work. Its a cool game!

Thank you for your like! Glad you enjoyed it, we will elaborate more on this!

Superb game, loved the artwork ! And a great atmosphere too. Some parts of the puzzle were a bit strange/difficult.

SPOILER: difficult steps : click the lamp several times, hammer the mirror, use the goblet on the journal. And I got a crash when I used the candle on the fog.

Developer

Thank you for playing! This means a lot to us, we will keep working on the game!

usage of the inventory was a big difficult, and I could not figure out what to use the pendulum on or how to get past the locked door. But its a beautiful game to look at, has a really nice Tim Burton aesthetic :)!

Beautiful game, the only thing I would've recommend to be done diferently is controls: IMHO there is no need to overcomplicate inventory management and moving between locations can be confusing (you need to press E while you're out of the screen - automatic transition to another location would be more intuitive)
aestetics, story and sd is 5/5 for me.

Thanks a lot for your comment!! We will focus on adjusting those :>
