I'm impressed by the polish of this game despite the super low-res style! You really nailed it.

The aesthetics and feel of this game are wonderful. Felt like I was playing an old arcade shooter like Galaga, especially with the sound font of the BGM. The screen shake/slowdown effect is really cool, and the action is constant. I'm not quite sure what the aim of the gameplay is, but it is still a neat experience!

The game freezes when I shatter 30+ frozen wisps at the same time ROFL

Fun little twinstick with rad core mechanic, I say

Developer

yeah the game takes a bit to recover from the huge amount of particles getting spawned, i'll probably add an option to turn off particles

Yo this actually sick. I love the little screen freezes when you pop enemies and the fact that the screen is infinite too.

I had way too much fun getting the screen to have as many frozen wisps as I could to lag the game. Adiciting and Fun!!!

Feels like an old flash game with how simplistic it is, yet addicting. I love it!

The best approach I've found is to stay in the middle and just fire at the wisps. They seem to mostly spawn in the corners if you do this, which makes for easy aiming.  You can ignore the ice blocks until they start to push you around. Not sure if the difficulty escalates, or if it's mostly just about being unlucky with spawns as time goes to infinity, because I've only played it a couple of times and I didn't pay close attention.
Best score: 1773.

Also, it's amazing what you can do for sprites with so few pixels. You're good at this.

Very simple, straightforward and has cute aesthetics

The game uses a minimalist design and works very well.

Feels like playing a retro game.

Thanks! That was 100% my intent!

It's a cool game (pun intended), feels great to play and somewhat addictive because of its arcadey nature. 5/5, would recommend

Nice. Very impressive for solo dev work.

I really like this one - I think 756 is a good score.

Developer(+1)

that's a pretty good score, my high score 2112 or something close to that
