Oh, it's a rhythm game! I like these!

And this one in particular, well it's fantastic. If there's one thing I like the most it's... How the background scrolls as you're going through the song. It's really satisfying to see right before your eyes how far you go. Who could have thought a simple ball-passing game would result in ascending?

I've featured this game in my showcase video. Well I'm sure it's not different from watching the autoplay but I just had to capture it, you know?

The rhythm here is fun!

Simple but very effective. Window for inputs is more precise than I expected, but also not so precise that I ever dropped combo as a result of it (that only happened when messing up between rhythm switches), so nice balance there.

One thing was that a lack of a beat before the ball passing started meant that getting starting could be a bit iffy; I also found myself syncopated off the down beat a number of times - minor but sometimes resulted in my timing getting messed up by the 12/1234 switches being off-measure relative to the music.

Cute and fun, Rhythm heaven really lives through this.

Wow, who would have thought that behind such an innocuous thumbnail image lied a legendary, ethereal, and transcendent experience.

The extreme anxiety you feel, growing as you ascend further and further, the awe from breaking your previous record quickly replaced by the intense fear of dropping your new streak. All these emotions exasperated by the ticking score count and the scrolling background.

“For how long does the background scroll? How high up will these fairies fly to pass the ball? At some point the sun would melt their wings, Cirno along with them.”

I’ve never gotten very far into Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, but I now understand the feeling you get when you ascend to the highest you’ve ever gone before slipping and losing it all in one second.

It just goes to show what great things can be achieved with a talented composer and just a subtle amount of audio/visual feedback. Bravo!

I’m usually not one to boast, but I’m really happy with the high score I’ve achieved, mostly thanks to being an avid DDR player. Any further and I may develop carpal tunnel.

YO THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE!

even with a seemingly simple gameplay, it is still interesting, the hitsound is pretty good, and the music is AMAZING...good job.

I can't really follow the numbers while keeping beat, so thanks for auto. The background was really cute.

Really cool game, reminds me of rhythm heaven! Very polished and great use of the combo concept. I really like the idea of going up higher and higher.

PS:My high score is 199.

Another simple game done well. I like the simplicity of the mechanic and how polished it is. Thank you for adding the auto feature for those who are not good and rhythm games, like me to enjoy the art and music, and the music is just S++ tier. Great job you guys. any chances we can get the OST for the game?

(also, love the cirno patting game)

Thank you! Here's the OST link : https://soundcloud.com/konata_1996/great-fairy-pass
Also, Thank you for playing the Cirno patting game!

Wow. That is tough. This is a great game, simple but executed really well, and I really appreciate the auto mode for people who want to see the full game but aren't the best at rhythm games like me. That kind of consideration really shows the care that was put into this. Probably one of the best in the jam. 5/5

this has gotta be my favorite entry ive seen so far gameplay-wise. super simple but super sharp, not difficult inputs but you still gotta really be on beat. looks cute too and you get to see some cool stuff while going up

This is such a simple yet great concept, and adorable. Nice.

Cool to see another rhythm game; I think you've definitely had more experience with the genre than I have lol

Very cute!

Bless you for having automode in your game, I cannot do rhythm games to save my life

As a bit of a Rhythm Heaven fan, more Touhou rhythm games are always a blessing, so I'm glad I got to play this. Definitely a bit of a wow moment when I got down the timing after a few tries and started hearing the music change as things started moving! Love the art on this one.

Cute little game, like to see simple rhythm games on Combo themed jam. And graphically it's doing well for such experience.

Tiny thing - I think you messed up times for switching between rhythms, it's much better if you do 1-2 before 1-2 instead of 1-2-3-4, numbers should show future rhythm.

I wasn't sure if I should use 1-2-3-4 or 1-2 because 1-2 feels to sudden. But you have a very good point. Thank you for you feedback! I'll remember that for the future
