Yoooo, wow so good! I really want to see it complete.

I'm so impressed by this game. The gameplay is good, the concept is good, the challenge in this demo is well-thought out.

As Xziled pointed out in the comment below, the controls could be more ergonomic. Since we're using WASD and the mouse, then why not use all of the mouse? You could easily get away with Dash on the right click, Lock-on on the middle click, Focus on Space and "weapon" selection with the scrollwheel.

Well yeah, speaking of Focus, I didn't use it much if not at all because I feel like pressing Shift while using WASD to move is awkward.

Despite of these small details, it's a really amazing and promising small demo, looking forward for more. I featured this game in my video here:

Very nice game, the lock on target is something that is missing on this kind of games so that's a big thank you.

I'll be playing post jam version later, but the first one was kinda nice to begin with.
And gave me Kirby vibes for stealing enemy attacks xD.

I think you may think something about the controls to make the attacks more easy to reach, because it's complicated to press 123, and wasd at the same time to dodge xD. The guard break was the best since you can stop moving to attack and it feels nice to knock down fairies to fill them with danmaku when they cannot fight back xD.

So sad there's no sound tracks, but hey, this has solid gameplay, so I'm fine with that.

If Realm of the Mad God had Touhou hitboxes I wouldn’t have dropped it, but this is a damn good alternative.

The combo system is cool and the progression mechanic is solid. There’s something nostalgic about habitually activating all your skills as soon as they leave cooldown to eke out an extra bit of damage, probably from a childhood of playing kooky MMO games.

My one criticism would have to be the pacing of the game, as bullets come at you really fast, often with little warning. I tended to only have a small window of time to react so, I ended up never touching my favourite dash-mechanic.

This is excellent.  The gameplay is unique and well made!  The dev should consider making a full game.

Pretty nice, the lock-on is a great feature in a game like this especially when I'm so rusty in dodging I need to completely focus on myself and not aiming

A very enjoyable short game that I'd love to see more of. The gameplay feels great and the unlockable attacks through defeating enemies is a cool concept (and would work even better if the game was longer). Even though I would have loved for the game to be longer, what is here still feels like a complete first level that is just long enough to be satisfying in its own right. All in all, great work.

I'm not quite sure what exactly triggers the guard break, but it's very satisfying to move into melee range for big damage. (And I found the fumo, since I knew to look for it. Very cute! I wish I could defeat it in order to gain its cuteness as an attack!)

found plushie :)

im not the best at bullet hells but the difficulty felt just right, this seems like something i could play a lot more of, there isnt any sound, but thats to be expected from solo jam.

Ah, the classic bullet hell, how I missed you so. Very smooth gameplay, though it can be hard to dodge sometimes. I'm not used to the camera scrolling along with player movement while there is a live pattern on screen but I guess the map size necessitates that. (Makes note in gameplay design caveats.) Oh yeah, I'm digging the Cirno boss fight. It's not too easy, but you have to be on guard.

I like it, the danmaku gameplay is good and the difficulty is well adjusted! I think some sound effects would help a lot

Solid overall with some cool concepts! Sound is a bit lacking, but the pixelart is nice and the controls work fine, I especially like the Satori (and theme) fitting mechanic of learning new danmaku from defeated enemies. The boss fight was really cool too, I liked the dialogue and it felt pretty fun to zip around switching between attacks while dodging the falling ice. If I had any gameplay critique, it's that Satori feels a little too fast, so the dodge in comparison doesn't feel very special (minus the iframes!)

Nice graphics! I couldn't really manage all the keys well, and it hurt my hand to jump around so much, but I did clear the boss once I took advice from the comments.

Love the concept! I think it has so much potential. Satori moves WAY TOO FAST tho, that makes it a bit hard to control, and the enemies don't make any visual indication when about to shot, so if you are too close to them it can get you some unpredictable hits. But I love the idea as I said and I'm kinda sad that it was that short.

Very cute and fun, even though I'm terrible at bullet hell games. I wonder how this would be mapped on a controller

Really nice one of a game. I like how snappy movement and shooting it, maybe enemies shoot too fast, but it's more for a polish (anticipation charge before powerful attacks on enemies?).

Persoanlly not a fan of collecting powers as it comes with managing inventory on number keys, but it's not difficult to get hang of, so doable. And it should play into Combo theme as it's really great to combo guard break into sword for good damage.

Most finished and interesting game so far :D

I always loved the concept of collecting different abilities on a journey, I wonder how far it would go on a danmaku perspective...making a combo with 20 danmaku patterns seems to be incredibly fun LOL

Probably the most fun game I've played today. Its challenging, but the controls are intuitive and you can quickly become accustomed to them and do some pretty skillful stuff. I.E. switching quickly between attacks in order to make use of their cooldowns while dodging can make you feel like a god. The lack of any audio hurts it a bit, but its still a really solid game. An easy 4/5.

P.S. There's also an Easter egg hidden somewhere in the game. Just examine your surroundings carefully and you'll probably find it. Have fun!
