Very well made. The polish really goes a long way, and although there aren't many levels, it makes all the levels feel fun and fair. The only level I disliked was "Save every crate from the crusher", which I think could've been fixed with just two less crates than there currently are.
Visually it's very nice to look at, although I would've liked a little more impact on the crushers, just to make them a bit more intimidating. But that is a very small critique.
It definitely needs some form of background music, though. The lack of music made it feel empty, and I think some kind of light song with some warehouse ambiance in the back would've fleshed the environment out quite a bit.
Thank you for creating!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I definitely tried to focus more on how each level played rather than the quantity, although I completely agree with you with that level, aswell as the last one as they are purely time-based and don't really feel too good in some afterthought.
Sounds in general were done last minute, so there is a clear lack of them, including music, though I definitely should have prioritized it!
Thanks again! :)
The crates are extremely familiar...
It might be, found a texture on a free icon website and did some finishing touches to make it fit the environment :)
Nice game!
Thank you!
Amazing visual effects, and sound effects are also cute and simple. The levels are well design, one can start playing through levels pretty easily. Thanks for submitting.
Thank you so much for the reply! Originally I was thinking of doing a 2.5D style game but with time constraints I went with this style instead. Glad you liked it :)
Like your visual style and parrallax background. I would like to see some kind of countdown at the beginning of the level to get ready. Just the level starts so abruptly and the boxes are already broken)
Thanks for the reply! I can see how that would improve the levels, as you often have to spend an attempt learning the layout. Will keep in mind!
i lost it on the level with two crates and a magnet after 78 tries
Sorry to hear haha. Random idea I got for a level
Despite not spending a lot of time on it, this is a very polished game with many detail well thought-out! The tutorial is nice and allow player to understand the mechanics well. Like others said, it would be nice to have some background music.
Thank you for the feedback! I wanted to go for a show-dont-tell kind of tutorial, think it turned out somewhat ok! And I will definitely consider background music if I update the game in the future! :)
It was a small fun game. A nice puzzle-ish? game that is quite addicting to play. It simply follows the game but it is very creative. I spent a good 10 minutes on level 3.
Thanks for the comment! Really glad you liked it! :)
Really sticks to the theme and made an amazing game out of it!
Thank you so much for the kind words! :)
Phenomenal work. The art is great, and the puzzle design is really good for a jam game. Well done!
Thank you so much! Appreciate the kind words! :)
Great game, well executed. One thing I'd add is a pause at the start of a level so the player can familiarise themselves with the level and the location of all objects. I had a couple of instances where I'd already lost the level before reading the objective, which felt odd :p
Appreciate the feedback! Adding some kind of an overview, like a brief pause, at the start of the level to familiarize the level is a really good idea! I realize that some levels give you little time to react upon first seeing it, often resulting in an immediate fail. Thanks again, will take into account! :)
Great work on your game team. I enjoyed the different mechanics you were able to provide to activate the different features and totally understand the time constraints on being able to add more levels. One item that would have been nice to have would be some background music as you are playing and maybe a timer to show how long it took to complete the level. When you have a chance check out the game we were able to get into the jam and i look forward to any and all feedback you have on it.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I planned to add some background music when I got started but simply forgot when the deadline was arriving rapidly. I underestimated how much I had to get done so I had to prioritize getting the game working as the bugs were racking up when playtesting. Will definitely take the feedback into account, thanks again!
The only complaint I have about this is really just the lack of levels (and yes I do understand the time issue). All the mechanics were there and were really well made, I just didn't feel like they were used to their fullest extent. I would've liked to see some combining of the crushers and magnets, for example, and I wish there were more puzzle elements here instead of being purely a timing game. That all really comes down to just a lack of levels though. Other than that, I have nothing else to complain about. The levels that were there were fun (if a little easy), the mechanics were really cool and interesting, the game looked nice, the sounds that were there were fine (though it was missing background music), and overall, it was fun to play.
(Also if you could play, rate, and give feedback on my game as well that would be much appreciated)
Thank you so much for the feedback! I realize the lack of gameplay is an issue because of the limited time I had to work on the game. Most mechanics are only used once as the only levels I made were pretty much tutorials for the different machines, so I didn't really get to mix them as I originally wished. Sound came last second so it's understandable that it is lacking.
I will check out your game later :)
