Very nicely done! The pillow mechanics and avoiding your past self are really well designed and do a good job fitting in the theme without sacrificing gameplay. The game feels extremely polished and very fun.
Only thing I'd tweak are the pillow mechanics so that it's easier to jump on a bouncing pillow and to maybe include a button to pick it up if you are around it instead of automatically picking it up.
Overall though, it's incredible you were able to create this game in the time given. Awesome work!
Thank you so much! There's an option in the settings to enable click to pick up so you don't accidentally pick up the pillow, i personally didn't like it so i defaulted it what it is right now. Will also be tweaking how it is now, it definitely needs some work. Will check out your game as well when i get a chance!

If this isn't the highest rated game of the jam im going to T H R O W H A N D S. Congratulations, this is the most polished game i've seen and played thus far. Executes on the focus and theme with flying colors and its a simple yet clever puzzle platformer. Honestly I'm jealous :)
Very cool game! Love the retro looking graphics and the fun pillow idea. I remember an old GMTK jam where there was one tool for everything and I think this would have fit great there too. It's always a thrill when you can use something as simple as a pillow for a handful of things. I couldn't get past level 12 though...sorry :( just couldn't jump up that high.
Thank you for the feedback, really motivates me to keep going! I was going for something that had many purposes. :) The trick for level 12 is to jump from the starting platform to the second pillow to get enough height. Will definitely be playing your game when i have time! Thank you for playing :)

Really nice visual aesthetic and concept! I love the snore noise - it cracked me up. The controls felt smooth, and I thought it was very wise to have the control prompts in the background. Dodging your past selves was an enjoyable challenge. Keep it up and I can't wait to see what else you create!

This game was very fun and challenging, even on normal mode. I thought the music and visuals went really well together, and the player was fun to control. The only issue I really had was with the pillow. It was a little tough to judge where it was going to land when I threw it sometimes. I think adding a reticle or something might be helpful. Only being able to collect it by walking into the side of it was also kind of frustrating, as sometimes I would jump up through it and bounce when I didn't mean to. Other than those problems, really great work!
Yea i'm aware of that bug and have plans to fix it afterwards, but i sort of just forgot while fixing other more game breaking bugs. Thank you for playing and reminding me of the bug!
Oh! Sorry, one more thing I wanted to suggest. I wish the game would telegraph a little better when the shadow is about to come out. Maybe if it flashed or something right before a new shadow emerged. I got surprised more than once right at the door by a shadow coming out.
That was suggested to me by my play testers as well, but i didn't have time to implement it! Will add that after the jam's over!

One of my favorite games yet! I've only played the first 6-7 levels and I'm hooked! I had to stop due to classes, but can't wait to play more. Not sure where you when wrong here. You've separated yourself from other platformer submissions with the unique "replay/shadow" effect. The game was fun, challenging, and fair. Art was very polished and music was very fitting as well. I can't really see much wrong. Awesome Submission!

Really fun! Sometimes it was hard to avoid the shadows because they came out of the entrance right when you went in, and sometimes the music glitched a bit. Besides that, very clever and fun
