Took a moment to get the feel for the movement but simple and addictive game.

Music stopped after a while. Dunno if that was intentional but I enjoyed it so missed it once it stopped.

I see a lot of folks saying the jump could have more horizontal momentum and I agree, but I kinda like it the way it is! After one or two times, I got the arc and landing them felt good. Fun game with no fuss

Submitted

Simple and effective. Only suggestion I'd have is tweaking the jump a little bit cause the arch was too harsh and weird to calculate where you will land. Overall, good job!

What a great game! I love how easy it was to catch on what to do, however I suck at games like this and kept getting destroyed by the spike.... haha

Great work on just the two buttons!
I loved how the mechanic worked!
Especially I was impressed how you pushed it with the moving platforms, and having to get down a ledge before you could jump up again!

Some dudes kept getting into hard places, but overall I loved the variety and fun experience!

Sick sprites as well, amongus. One thing I did notice was the music stopped playing after a while.

I enjoyed playing Path Dash. The switch between changing paths and jumping was really messing with me but it's an interesting mechanic. I found the minimalistic graphics and animations to work very well. Like others already said, the jump is the one thing I'd change. Solid game!

hey thanks for the feedback. Do you think allowing jump on the top platform or just more forgiving with the spikes.

Submitted

I'd increase the horizontal velocity during a jump to make it feel a bit more intuitive where the character will land after a jump.

Fun and sometimes frustrating to play haha. Great graphics. If you could make the jumps wider it would be more intuitive.

Thanks for the feedback. You can change the jump, speed and shot cooldown in the settings :)

Hey xander, fun game entry! Great use of the theme switching between the two main paths, I really liked that core mechanic! Like some others, I did find a few parts a bit difficult, namely with timing the jumps. There were a couple spots I also felt like I couldn't get through the flying enemies if I got unlucky with their timing, but these are small and easy fixes. Overall, I still enjoyed it and I think you have a solid experience here!

Great game Xander, had heaps of fun with it although I wasn't the best at it as I struggle a little with precision timing games. You totally nailed the theme, restriction and got in a diversifier too. My only feedback is to allow the player to decide when to start moving from the checkpoint (as opposed to the count down) which would have helped later in the game and perhaps consider unlimited respawns to help players progress further. Awesome work overall!

This was fun, nice work! I found it quite hard, especially with timing jumps, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

this was really fun! i liked the movement and the art, but i always felt like i could jump further than i actually could and ended up missing alot of jumps (might be cause im just bad though) either way great entry!

Hello, my friend!  Nice to see you here.

My first to actually participating alongside you.  And it was a good experience!  Controls felt good.  Easy to pick up.  Graphics and audio felt appropriate.

The movement speed took a minute to get used to.  With the player's speed, it was easy to miss some jumps.  Had to be a little pixel perfect with some of them.  Maybe a touch faster on the player movement?  Just my opinion, of course.

Overall, a solid entry.  Will be curious to see if you turn this into a complete game.  Cheers!

Nice entry! simple idea but it's still a little challenging and fun to play!
