The gameplay is really fun and compelling, and I also really liked the art! I think 10hp and 35 turns are way more than anyone would need though.

Excellent work!

Was cool when I got more miners and could create a battle strategy! Very cool game, and awesome use of colors!

Thanks!

That is a fun game right there! I enjoyed playing, even though I was a little confused at the start, given that I thought I was able to select the miner I wanted to move, so I ended up moving in place a bunch lol

Lovely game :)

Thanks for playing

Pretty good! Just wanted the time between turns to pass a bit quicker, maybe twice as fast.

Developer(+1)

Thank you. Yeah I agree, it's too long with nothing happening

Not very difficult but a nice proof of concept. Restarted a few times when i understood how the new characters introduced worked but other than that it was quite clear.  It was a nice touch that you could hit your own units, it would allow for some quite complex puzzles. The graphics looks nice and the sounds are servicable. The delay between turns is a bit slow. Nice overall, but could've used a little more content. Good luck :)

Developer

Thank you. Yea the design/UI could be vastly improved

Loved it! I just wish the levels were a little more challenging and that some of the characters were more useful. I don't think I ever hit anyone with one of the guys.

But very nicely made game.

Good luck with the jam!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you and best of luck to you too. Using more distinct abilities and adding tile mechanics would be more fun/challenging

Nice game.
Some work on the UI to clearly see the current miner and some tweening to give them a bit of life will be welcomed.
Could also be great to see there range of move attack when just hover them with the mouse, and see the order of the miners, the damages, etc..
Some screen shaking and falling rocks could help see the hurry.
The game play in it-self works, it just need some polish.

Developer

Thanks. I should've allocated more time overall to polishing /UI

Very nice! I love the mechanic of turn based movement. I think I would love to see some more polish on it, but really great entry!

Thanks!

Pretty cool entry! I could see myself playing for more levels if you decide to add them in the future! :)

Developer

Thanks and noted :)

Super cool! I like the fact that there are different types of characters meaning you have to kinda balance where you want each one to go. Would love to see it expanded on!

Developer

Thanks!

The UI was a bit confusing at times, but I still had fun. The game also looks and sounds great!

Thank you!

Nice work, short n sweet mini game. Hard to see who the miners were at times but still - I had fun!

Developer

Thanks

Cool game concept—I love a good turn-based game! The graphics are great, and I loved how the miners use their tools and just chuck them at the golems. 'You want a wheelbarrow? Here, take this!' 😂

It was a bit tricky to tell whose turn it was when there were multiple miners. Adding an outline or indicator for the active character would be super helpful!

Developer

Thanks and I agree on the UI problems
