Yep! I made this music completely from scratch for this jam!

Haha, in the case that his game made in 12 hours reaches that position, I'll be happy with a link to my YouTube! Can be found on the game page, my itch page, and also right here! :D https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL7FCx3MrwKGYFEs91Lz0yg

Great game, although there are a few movement improvements that you could have done really quickly, which is a cayote jump and cayote pre-jump, a cayote jump is basically if you walk off of the ground you still have a few seconds to jump, even if you are not standing on the ground, and a cayote pre-jump is when you are falling and you press jump but you are not on the ground, the game keeps that input for a few frames and if you touch the ground in those few frames that you are falling you still jump, it adds a great feel to the movement of the game and makes the game way less punishing, great jobs on the visuals aswell, i really like the RGB neon type visuals!
I really loved it! the graphic were nice, the gamplay was fun and the effects were super juicy.
if you could als play my game that would be nice :)
Very well done, especially for 12 hours, (also watched your devlog and liked it a lot so +1 subscriber for you), one thing that I might suggest is making the spike hitboxes a little smaller just because there was a few timers where it didn't look like I touched the spikes but I still died (Then again that also might just be cause I'm bad at the game)
Nevertheless still quite impressive for 12 hours, well done.
A very good game for 12 hours. This game is really polished and has really nice sound effects and music. The game was short ( I finished it in 101 seconds) but I really liked it! It was fun to play it and I enjoyed it!
Amazing job mate! Also, I would appreciate, if you have time, to rate my game :)
You obviously have lots of talent because this is well polished, but here's a tip for jams:
Take your first ideas, and scrap them. Brainstorm for an hour for a bunch of ones and pick one that is simple, unique (so not your first idea usually), and quick to make.
I've played this game with different sounds about seven times already.
The movement was... ehhhhh... Jumping had input delay, which would've been hard to notice until you realize this game has no or very little coyote time, making it feel unresponsive.
It was overall pretty fun, but I've played it before.
Excellent for 12 hours.
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to write out this lengthy review! Much appreciated!
That's a really, really awesome idea for brainstorming ideas - I'm definitely gong to be following this from now on!
Yeah, you're right, the movement is completely janked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, I wish it was better, too xD
Thank you very much, Couchlyntt! :D
Nice work, especially for 12 hours!
The theme implementation and interpretation is very popular, but you created something fun regardless. The graphics were simple and concise, the audio was smooth and reactive, and the mechanic was well implemented.
"Do one thing, and do it well!"
Nice, we had the same idea! (as did a lot of other participants in the jam) The visuals are simple but that post-processing really did take it a long way. The sound is pretty nice too. Overall, nice game especially considering it was made in 12h!
Very impressive for a game that just took 12 hours. It is extremely short, but I think it's also polished well and the jumping mechanics are very satisfying to use. It fits the theme very well, but at the same time it doesn't seem to be too much of an original take on it. The music was awesome.
The game feels very nice to just look at and play, but unfortunately, the theme of the game has been pretty common, so it faces some stiff competition . Nevertheless, the visuals were extremely good, and the game, although very short, is very fun. Good job!
The controls feel very unresponsive, the player is slow and it takes up to a quarter of second to respond to the player's input making it really hard to jump.
And normally, knowing that this game was made in super short time i wouldn't be that hard to judge, if it wasn't for the fact that you done it correct in one of your previous game, Minima. Btw if you told me that this was a DLC for that game i'd totally believe you (this game is very similar to it, ngl)
Other than that, the game is pretty good!! Good job, pulling that off in 12 hours!! Maybe i'd had spent more time polishing the main gameplay instead of building a leaderboard if i were you (especially if half of your users can't/won't use it), but oh well... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I especially like the changing color tiles. Good Job!! (^u^)
